International or Domestic (Pros and Cons)

Looks like its fucked, customer service now claims it was sent 8 abroad days ago, no way in hell it would be here in transit for that long. Are customs just snagging shit like crazy and not sending notifications? this is fucked up

Well, not here, took them 3 days after it got to customs to come to the address...

If u dont mind me asking...what and how much was coming through the mail? Also, did you have shit in your house? How thoroughly did they search it? Thanks!

All i can say is if the mailman tries to get you to sign for it suck it up as a loss and walk away. If you deny any knowledge of the package they have to leave you alone

Please don't overstep your knowledge boundaries...there is no such rule as this. If you deny a pack that is meant as a prelude to a CD, they will likely try a "knock-and-talk" if the warrant is dependent on the pack's acceptance. If it is not, they may/will raid you anyway.

BTW, do not talk if they come to your door. Politely say you don't wish to talk w/o a lawyer and close the door.

I've ordered internation a couple times and have had no problems. It all depends on how much common sense your source has. I would stick to sources that will reship at there own cost if it get seized.

Is it only U.S. customs that is cracking down? I'm still waiting on something that was dispatched a week ago from overseas but has yet to leave the country...mail tracking still says "processing for delivery abroad". I don't remember ever waiting longer than a week... Does that
mean they snagged it over there?

U.S.Customs are not only based in the States , there are also U.S. Customs personnel working at Bangkok Airport in Thailand . They confiscated some test cyp i ordered last year and my source in Thailand received a Thai seizure notice allowing him 30 days to make a claim for his goods .

From teh US customs website

While U.S. Customs is mandated with broad enforcement and investigative authorities, that is not necessarily true of our counterparts. Thus, we rely on various foreign law enforcement agencies for cooperation in carrying out our mission. And, although collaboration and support from the foreign governments are generally good, several countries place severe restrictions on what we can do because of sovereignty concerns. Add to that language and cultural differences, and our ability to work on such sensitive matters as textile transshipment or child labor abuses is at times challenging.

However, we remind ourselves that we have a very important mission to accomplish. We use our professionalism, personal skills, and diplomacy to face these challenges and to cultivate a close and cooperative working relationship with our foreign enforcement counterparts.

Despite these obstacles, for FY 2000, the Customs Attaché in Bangkok has served 16 search warrants; cooperated in 9 Thailand seizures; affected 4,325 domestic seizures; responded to 83 collateral investigations; initiated 26 investigations; 2 special operations and 2 extraditions; provided intelligence; and supported training in 4 countries

They tried to deliver a package, no other mail, the guy was in a minivan, not the time I get my mail, wasnt my normal delivery guy. Although, they had a warrant anyways and I was raided about 3 mins after the attempt.

To what degree did they go to find gear in your place? Do you live a small apartment or a big home? Just trying to get an idea of how hard they search your place. Wondering if they tear apart every dresser drawer, search every box up in your attic, and tear down every picture on the wall; or if its just a quick 30 min search then they are outta there. I have had a few customs letters in the past 2 months and have to wonder how safe I may be with gear around.

Safe? Is there a more safe way to purchase illicit drugs than being cuddled by my PC, watching Law and Order, and listening to Steppenwolf? Plus I used my AMEX card so I am protected against fraud.
