Did a google search on "making chemical compounds", cuz I was interested in getting some stuff to do science projects with my little girl.

So I guess the question now is, what prevents someone from simply going to one of these chinese distributers and buying this stuff bulk????

I'm sure 90% of them are scams, but if you used like alexa or some shit to verify their business you might be able to weed out the chaffe.

BTW, using the search parameter, "science kit" gave me what I wanted to order.

There is a chance of scamming, and I believe most of them require proof that you work for a company that deals with this (and has special permits) and you are making the purchase on their behalf. I think you have to cross your heart and hope to die or something.
