Interesting approach to "carb rotation"...

OK, I'm 13 weeks out from a comp and I hit a glitch w/ my diet/training so I suggested to my trainer that carb rotation hadworked well for me in the past. Sooooo... I see the new "carb rotation diet" from her the other day. Here it is:

Day 1, Day 2:
5 meals at 200 g (about 7 oz) protein + vegies, no major carbs
Fat comes in the form of 1 steak max per day or fish and flax oil
2 kiwis after each meal to help w/ digestion

Day 3:
5 meals of 200 g (about 7 oz) starchy carbs (oatmeal, brown rice and/or sweet potatoes only) + vegies
2 kiwis after each meal

Repeat for a couple weeks

Anyone ever see this sort of "carb rotation" before??
 
Well I guess that's reassuring -- I'd never seen a carb rotation being literally a day of carbs rotated w/ a couple days of no carbs.

Gotta love pre-comp huh? Hope it works as well as the "other" style of carb rotation ;)
