I've heard secondhand acounts of no fat gained, and in some cases fat actually lost, in those who had their diet and training dialed in tight of course. However, I'd like to hear straight from some users.
I used it when on test prop (250 mg a wk), Reforvit (25mg pill a day), and HGh (4 I.U. a day) and did not gain too much fat (think HGh lowers your insulin sensitivity). I got up to 10 I.U. a day, after workouts, but it was hard to keep my meals so timed out. So I only stayed on it for a week and a half. But I could tell some weight gain in just that time.
My uncle is diabetic. When he started injecting insulin he did gain some fat arround that area. Keep in mind he takes care of him self to the extent an old man can. Regular cardio, eating right, etc...
I took the slin during my post cycle (from a dbol/sust/fina cycle). what I can tell you is I did not loose any strenght during my pct. nor did I loose any wheight. (well maybe 2-3 pounds at the VERY most). I stayed on for about four weeks, no fat gain.
insulin does not make you fat... excessive calories do...Insulin is good while on, or off a cycle...In particular after training, or in the morning after starving for 8 hours or more...General rule of thumb for insulin is 10 grams of carbs per i.u. of insulin...ex.
If I were going to use 10iu's of insulin PWO...I would then consume a shake with 120 grams of carbs from dextrose, and then 70 grams of protein...Very easy if one educates themselves on the subject...Otherwise you can fuck yourself up pretty bad...
