insulin tips

I haven't ever used insulin, but I am severely hypoglycemic. My tip is keep orange juice nearby at all times when using.

Insulin will shuttle all the glucose (among other things) out of your blood with unparalleled quickness. Once this happens your neurons have nothing to eat. The way your neurons let you know they are hungry is an increasingly unpleasant chain of events brought to you courtesy of your central nervous system.

Be safe.

Thank you. I couldn't have said this better myself.

I, for one, see no need to use insulin unless you have maxed your potential out already on AAS and HGH.

Thank you. And yes, I think people don't really realize how powerful insulin really is. You can read and get advice, but you really can't appreciate the danger of insulin until you use it (or get an overzealous pancreas).

Your body naturally increases insulin in response to carbohydrate intake, so as long as you eat protein WITH carbs, you still get amino acids to your muscle along with the replenished glycogen.

I am not one to try to tell people what to do since it is not my body, but I agree that it isn't something to use unless you can really use it to its full potential.

On the other side though, the fact that I am always running high insulin (naturally) makes it very easy for me to build muscle or burn fat. The slightest change in my diet and results just come quick. But I have high levels 24/7/365, and not just once or twice a day.

BUT it also means if I slack off I gain fat quickly.

Tony.
