Insulin and shipping

I used to have a friend that I could get insulin of in AZ but now im back in maine and its not the case any longer. I have ordered Novolog from a canadian pharmacy and was wondering how long insulin can be at above fridge temps? I asked a pharmacist once and I remember if he said a day or three days. Any knowledge on this guys? thanks!

Nevermind guys, just called Novo and its good for 28 days at room temp. Never hurts to do research on your own huh?

ya its good for 28 - if it gets stringy then its gone bad

They say that, but I wouldn't keep it at room temp. for over a week. JMO.
