Insomnia Question

I'm ovo-lacto...that is, all products with meat and meat products, i.e. chicken broth, jello, most gums and breath mints, smoked bacon cheese, etc., etc. But eggs are ok, so I'll look into that...I actually really hate soy by itself, but I eat a lot of soy products, like smartdogs and smartsteaks (with mushrooms...mmmmm)...Anyway, I swam most of my life, and we carbo-loaded all the time, so I never really saw or understood the advantage of high protein/low carb type stuff. What really turned me off was my mom had an old diet book from the fifties which described the exact same thing that this atkins diet is, and I was really turned off to it...my parents both have mild diabetes and my dad has heart problems, both are slightly overweight, so I like to stick to what is traditionally healthy to fend off such things...everyone here seems stuck on high protein and all, maybe you can change my mind, though it would have to be pretty convincing...probably futile

anyway, how much do I owe you gym? ;)

everything you say comes out as the voice of Hank there, which makes me laugh, which makes "I want a pony" make me laugh even harder...

I am going to cut out body bar tonight, but must go to 'Carribbean rhythms' (it's an aerobics class, and stop giggling) because I went clubbing this weekend and got home early without a sufficient amount of booty-shakin'. I just wanna dance...so, maybe burning less cals will make me feel better...hmm

Anyway, I've got my herbal tea and "relaxing" bath stuff all set up, and I'm going to make a consorted effort to sleep tonight. Any more advice would be very welcome...

lm- if you get deperate, get some melatonin. You can get it in any grocery store. Do a search on the web, you'll find plenty of info on it. I take it once in a while when I can't sleep.
 
Suggestion

Well, there is ONE activity that never fails to tire me out, and I usually sleep like a baby afterward :o

Of course, you will need to find a partner to do it right :D
