Inside the mind of a pedophile...

aandd

New member
So, it turns out that the man (Joseph DUncan) who is accused of kidnapping Shasta Groene and her brother (the kids in Idaho after killing their family) KEPT A BLOG. There are a few veiled references that can be construed as admitting to previous assults on children... but for the most part it's a lot of rambling about how unfair we are to criminals.

How do you know its not genetic like homosexuality or heterosexuality or other's sexuality as some argue??

it's a sad kaleidoscope
invariably the abuser was formed by the same or similar

To remove anyone's rights is dangerous...

Its a slippery slope argument she's making, she could be referring to adultery, people say the same thing and they stone women to death for real life in Islamic countries, Ive seen videos of it or homosexuals and Mathew Sheppard or being born black like dragging death of James Byrd in Texas, if the genetic argument holds then you are killing someone for being who they are. Thats where the genetic argument always breaks down. Why the death penalty can be criticized b/c unless they confess you may be executing an innocent man, which has happened even though people argue that every death and the liberty and rights guaranteed by the constitution is taken by the state. They continue to argue that even though DNA has exonerated people completely on death row. ITs about the system and who decides what is right and wrong, is adultery wrong, is molesting a child wrong, is homosexuality wrong, is heterosexuality wrong. Its the basic fundamental question of faith and what people beleive. The people of Nambla thinks that its natural and they group together and advocate it. Personally I could kill those people in Nambla and think the world woud be a better place. But what separates us from the barbarism and brutality of Islamic countries that stone a woman for adultery or burn the woman's clitorus off with a hot poker or cut it off in a brutal fashion to prevent her from having a sex drive? Questions that every one needs to address at some point in their life and stop arguing and make a decision on what is right and what is wrong. Like Timothy Mcveigh, he deserved to die, it was just justice, but what is perfect justice? Eye for an eye, code of Hammurabi, where do we base our ideas of the legal system on? Precedence of course going back to English law and courts and decision. Our ideas of liberty and french philosophers like Voltaire and Russo etc...its why we should study Western Civilization so that we understand the world. That is the problem with teaching multiculturalism and deleting texts and lessons in favor diversity like replacing the teachings of people that influenced this country with an african american course. Sure we shoud learn it, just like we should learn from every culture, we learn from the best of the best. Like Romans, they were a very different peoples indeed, they didnt have international flights, they couldnt get on a plane and go across the world, five hundred miles away from them was terra incognita, they had no idea what was happening there, they believed in many Gods, some of us in no Gods, they were polytheists, the idea of monotheism was completely strange to them. Yet they had many things to offer and we should learn those things, learn the best of that culture. The same with the Chinese, their paintings are fine, their artwork is fine, they have much in the way of eastern religion and philosophies, like the Tao Te Ching by Lao Tze, Book of Menchas, the Tao. But why stop there? You go to India and read the Rig Veda the aponoshads the rambayana, Brahman it keeps going. You take the best of the best of each culture and learn it and teach it, Indian teachings etc.. Socrates, Plato.http://mb-soft.com/believe/txo/philoso.htm Thats what education should be about, take the best of the best to make our children smarter and more enlightened about their own country. Once you go down these slippery-slope arguments they just keep going on any tangent you want. So why argue? Why make statements, b/c if youre not educated and youre the one deciding who lives and dies, then the system breaks down. Thats why we have judges and courts and professionals and Supreme Courts, people that devote their lives to these rules and histories and precedents. Thats why it cracks me up when someone says the stupid supreme court gave Bush the election, why they put down people who devote their whole lives to figuring out the world day in day out to make people safe and why all the information said Iraq had WMDs and why hindsight is twenty/twenty. But good honest, intelligent dedicated people did their best and gave the best advice to one man and he had to make a decision that would affect the world. Now people are saying just leave Iraq, but guess what, Zarqawi is there and he is the defacto leader of Al Queda and intelligence sources say that he is contact with Osama Bin Laden and theyve agreed to step up attacks on Western Europe, people that want to kill us and people may find out that London bombing was b/c of Al Queda and people are giving their lives to find these men and bring them to justice. These people think they are right and that we should die. Why? B/C they are Islamic Fundamentalists, the same thought that women who commit adultery should be stoned. People should have their heads cut off b/c they are associated with the US. Do you see how dangerous it is to make that decision of why someone should die? Why should you kill a child molestor or someone or something. B/C you go down that slippery-slope. What does it all mean? Its the system we have and its the best one in the world and people want to destroy us for that b/c they cant comprehend this type of talk that Im saying. Its hatred of free thinking. That is my message to the world, that Im am destined to become world leader to bring Heaven on Earth. Strike that, Ive decided on the Dalai Lama, who hates the Dalai Lama?? If they do then they are wrong. Well, Ive rambled too long, Ive got to finish writing my books.

wait one goddamn minute
haven't you learned the internet attention span?
got a point get it across briefly
it your'e posting whole swathe's it's going mostly unread

Justice is not about getting revenge. It's about keeping evil doers away from society where they can't commit their crimes anymore.

Life imprisonment works fine.

And if new evidence comes back to find them innocent -- they can be released and the system improved. Death takes away that accountability and makes the sentence permanent and unreversible.

LOL, I post for myself not for people to read it all the time. Is that why you post, sometimes what you have to say you cant get the point across in two sentences. I rambled on a thread that no one is reading so whats the point, Im bored and its a slow night on EF so I rambled my own thoughts. I put my posts in my own blog b/c alot of people like to read my thoughts thats all. Im famous in some circles yknow, just have to find the right target market that's all. For me, my target market for my humor are men, my age, who are me

who is she?
gender doesn't matter no how
moving along I understand your point about the same offense carrying different weight in different cultures
and then you have used a couple of real life examples to buttress a point I have yet to determine

we're getting into genetics

alot is actually two "words"
running a blog on myself as you are
well hell

"Why the death penalty can be criticized b/c unless they confess you may be executing an innocent man, which has happened even though people argue that every death and the liberty and rights guaranteed by the constitution is taken by the state."
i think,and correct me if I'm wrong
but the majority of "wrongful" executions were based on coerced confessions

otherwise we have added the "state" to "genetics" to down the road arguments

"They continue to argue that even though DNA has exonerated people completely on death row. ITs about the system and who decides what is right and wrong, is adultery wrong, is molesting a child wrong, is homosexuality wrong, is heterosexuality wrong."
I can't even figure out how to counter-argue this
I know there is a point or two you're arguing and it must be wrong.

I can argue genetics, its a nature vs. nurture argument thats been played out and could spend of lifetime arguing and reading research on, science saying one thing and then another and then another. I was a cognitive researcher, I know how flaws and biases creep into these people's research. You see thats an argument against people who believe in science as the gospel, b/c I can pick it apart when someone posts a scientific article to buttress their points. Really, I could go on and on about that too. You are saying its nurture and I was raising the question of nature to draw you out. The answer its a lil bit of both.

"Why the death penalty can be criticized b/c unless they confess you may be executing an innocent man, which has happened even though people argue that every death and the liberty and rights guaranteed by the constitution is taken by the state."

I was going to mention that about the fallacy of confessions and proven techniques of coercion and examples, but that leads back to my point of who decides who should die. But that wouldve only added to the length of my ramble and it slipped my mind, perhaps I was correcting a typo at the moment that came into my mind and forgot to add it. Thats my point, sometimes what you have to say cant be put into a sentence or two b/c that just allows the respondent to raise that point which leads to a back and forth argument. So a smart debater closes the door before they raise it.
You lead them down the argument closing each and every door before they can open it to prevent them from mounting a reasonable debate against you. Its simple to do and quite effective leaving them not being able to argue the merits of your points but to attack the length of the response
The only proven technique now is DNA, but a smart person can frame someone now with planting their DNA. So that leaves fingerprints right, but no one knows when that person was their and left that fingerprint. So its a time issue, couldve been the night of the murder or a year before. Thats that limitation of science. So many limitations. Where would we head with that, an example would be the movie Gattaca. I could go on and on about that too.

alot is actually two "words"

I know that, but surely I dont care about going back and correcting a typo in midramble especially if no one is likely to read it here on EF. Here's to running blogs, to the only two people paying attn tonight. Just like when you post up interesting stuff like that thread about the Russian girl who discusses some people are going to bars but she was going to those mounds. That was her blog about the WW2 in her town. Someone finds interesting. You posted and I thought it was good and read it all. So whats the point. Maybe someone reads and goes, thats awesome, that means alot.

They continue to argue that even though DNA has exonerated people completely on death row. ITs about the system and who decides what is right and wrong, is adultery wrong, is molesting a child wrong, is homosexuality wrong, is heterosexuality wrong."

I know there is a point or two you're arguing and it must be wrong

Its not meant to be argued, its meant to spur thought thats all. They are rhetorical questions that no one can answer. The whole point is no one can answer it b/c its a slippery-slope argument. How is my point about slippery-slope arguments wrong? ;)

Almost heaven, west virginia
Blue ridge mountains
Shenandoah river -
Life is old there
Older than the trees
Younger than the mountains
Growin’ like a breeze

Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West virginia, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads

All my memories gathered ¡®round her
Miner’s lady, stranger to blue water
Dark and dusty, painted on the sky
Misty taste of moonshine
Teardrops in my eye

Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West virginia, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads

I hear her voice
In the mornin’ hour she calls me
The radio reminds me of my home far away
And drivin’ down the road I get a feelin’
That I should have been home yesterday, yesterday

Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West virginia, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads

Country roads, take me home
To the place I belong
West virginia, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads
Take me home, now country roads
Take me home, now country roads

a lil John Denver to complete my long posts, it wasnt quite long enough and that captures my mood right now. I need to go out into the country camping and clear my mind

well what can i say?
youve earned my respect
your points and/or english makes it hard to figure where you're coming from
but your recollection of the thread I hatched about the Kiev girl that liked to go "mound" hunting put the hook in me

nice that you grasped my point

but you almost alone followed up

i still maintain pedophiles aren't born pedophiles
and I want and/or am interested in the genetic argument that they are predispositoned to behave with such a slant

You missed my point, blogs are cool, thats why I wrote a long post to illustrate what a blog is, its cool unless your a pedophile, everyone has a target audience, I have mine, you have yours. Reading his blog validates his existance and I didnt read it for that reason. People that look and read are interested in reading his thoughts and mind have to examine their own nature and nurture to make them do that. Get my point? The substance of my position is often hidden but its there, I give enough to help people think, it matters not that they get my point b/c few rarely do get what I say but its the fun of creating and the joy of intellectual stimulation of a philosophical debate. Thats why people argue right, to win or to sharpen their intellectual mind. What is the point of you uttering a word? If you utter words and no one is around to hear them, have you really spoken and made a sound? What is sound? You have to define it first, if a tree falls in the woods, it makes a vibration, is that vibration sound? Or does it have to be heard by someone else for it to become real? Is all of this around us the vibration of God? And then there's you and I that observe and absorb that frequency that makes God real?
You know that color is not real, just a creation of one's mind, things that appear to have color just absorb that wavelength and reflect it back to our eye and our brain creates that illusion of color. The brain assigns it that color but does it really exist? Does any of this really exist? Do I exist? Without you hearing my vibration am I really here? Thats the frequency I speak can you tune it in? Its simple logically, all of this around you is an illusion created by your brain. When you take a drug the hallucinations become real, you see, vision is a two way street. Your mind alters the electrons in front of you to see it. Stare and a static tv some time. Stare long enough and you start to see patterns and images on that screen and electrons hitting them. Now right now the electrons you see are coming from me(maybe).
But in that case if you stare at the static tv, your mind is moving those electrons on that screen into patterns, your mind is controlling the outside environment.
Not possible, its doing it everyday when you move your hand and pick something up, its sending a message from your brain to other atoms, your body and it moving other atoms in this reality. You see, your brain creates and controls this reality. You can do anything with your mind if you can focus it. Its about finding that frequency and reverberating it on something elses frequency and it grows, its simple physics. Its a wave, we are all waves and we are all particles right. Its the wave/particle dualism I speak of. Light is both a wave and a particle and so is our mind and this reality around us. Just waves, light waves that our mind can absorb and interpret and create this illusion of a reality.

He'll probably get locked up for life now. But he was out as a level 3 sex offender. Why do they even have to let out the ones that are highly likely to offend?

I'd rather have the guy who got busted with a pound of weed stay out of jail and keep the child rapists in.

When I was a child I was involved in an incestuous relationship. Older relatives of my mother, basically brainwashed me to do things, saying that this sort of thing was normal. For years I thought it was so, but as I grew up I realized that I had been assaulted & what happened was wrong. But in the back of my mind I had always been titillated by similar stories. Over the years, through therapy & life experiences I realized the consequences of such things. It's true, assaulters can assault. But they have the power to stop too. Well, in this case, the line stops here.
My wife knows my history & early in our marriage I assured her that I would kill myself before I would continue the chain.
I can't believe I've posted this. Know one knows except my wife & 2 close friends, & my Doc. & now several thousand others.

Life is all about the decisions we make. You took a horrible situation and made good decisions coming out of it. Props to you for breaking the cycle.

You must spread some Karma around before giving it to hidngod again.

Rape is rape. Its wrong.
Here is where it gets interesting..
Only a hundred or do years ago people were getting married at 16 to 18. Even further back in history people were married at 14, having children shortly there after and dying around 20. What I am getting at is pedophilia was not only acceptable but the norm.
Go back 30 to 40 years and look how homosexuals were treated. They were banished from society. Now it is acceptable.
So we see one group phase out of society and another phase in.
Right now beastiality is not acceptable. How do we know it will not be phased in in the future?
Every culture is different.
Who knows what is genetic and what isn't. You can make a believable case in either direction.
What makes this story sad is that there is RAPE involved. That is when I am less acceptable of peoples lifestyles.

I realized yesterday that many of the inventions that we take for granted (transistors, light bulbs, telephone, etc...) were invented by individuals such that if they had not come along we may not have ever known about their inventions and the world would be quite a different place. Then I realized, there must be thousands of inventions that have not been invented that could have had similar importance in our world. I wonder what they could have been?

All things considered, I found this rather interesting.

life isnt fair...we are all dealt a hand to play when we are young..how we choose to play that hand in our later years is up to us.. some choose right, some choose wrong..
I'm not defending the guy
he obviously was in an incurable class that should have never been freed
but hey we need room in the jails for the DUI offenders

and I'd hate to see say an 18 year old classed as a "sex offender" for getting caught with a 16 year old(or some borderline crap like that)
hell as recently as 70 years ago girls married at that age, even 15
