BigAndy, I'm not sure, but I bet if you dropped a PM to GaryWary, he could tell you -- by far he's one of the most knowledgeable I have seen on inositiol.
I used inositol with great results. Powder is the way to go; average effective dose is at least 4 grams a day. I took 6 grams/day over 3 dosages w/ grapefruit juice. Gary has posted studies in which subjects took up to 50 grams a day with no adverse effects...
Inositol acts very rapidly; stacking in somewhere between 100 - 200 mgs of 5htp with the inositol would be a good move too.
