Injury - what to do?

Hi guys,

Virgin poster here. This is my first post on here but I do enjoy reading the threads and getting good tips and advise from the pro's.

I am 33, 230lbs, not sure of body fat %, in my 3rd week of my Tren Ace/ Test E Cycle. Just upped the tren to 100/eod from 75 and test 750/pw. Gains and strength have been amazing since I havent touched anything in 18months. Sides so far seems to be insomnia and slight night sweats. Although at gym I go round like a walking shower.

The problem I have is in the last couple of days I have a niggling injury in my right wrist which I am worried will get worse.

Do I stop the cycle and rest up for a week or do I avoid most upper body exercises and focus more on legs and some cardio?

Thanks in advance for the replies.

Is it an actual injury or just sore achy popping wrist?

Well it isnt popping, but today during my workout I could feel it still wasnt right. This is causing me to adjust my grip to avoid any type of pain and not focus on the actual rep.

Thinking I should maybe strap it up and see how that goes?

Well if you didn't injure it it's probably just the tren dryin it out yeah def strap it up

strap it up for now but don't make a habit of using straps and gloves etc. you will lose forearm development. i know cause i used to use gloves and straps, i ended up getting forearm splints from weak forearms.. once i got rid of the gloves and straps a few months later my forearm splints dissapeared. its kinda like running barefoot vs. wearing poorly fitting shoes and developing leg problems.

i would wrap it. i had constant pain in my wrists until i started wraping them and alls good now. there are very small bones and tendons in your wrist that can only take so much.

Train around the injury. Work legs more. They probably need it. But ween off the cycle and save up for a big one down the road.

Lifting weights regularly for prolonged periods can cause symptoms similar to carpel tunnel syndrome stretching will assist (not a pro but work in an industry where carpel tunnel is possible and the health advisor sometimes notices the symptoms with weight litters and motorbike riders)

^^^ This, whats happened is your cycle has made you stronger and you are using heavier weights and have probably just strained it. It happens all the time. Like Nelson and Steve said just train around it and move forward. Its happened to all of us at some point and will happen again, probably. Best of luck to you!
