Injury ?s

Hello my name is Dan
I am sorry for my bad spelling but I can't finde the spell check

I am new to this site but I think I am in the right place.

I have a few ?s about using anabolics.

I am a football player and I have pulled my hamstring. :worried: I was wondering if anyone knew if steroids would help the healing process. I have never used any illegal ergagenic aids so I don't have first hand experience.

I do however have my BS in Exercise Science and in Athletic training, so I have a good understanding of rehab protacal.

Is there somthing that will stimulate my hamstring so It will heal faster.

Any insite would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Dan

could make it heal back really tight... and cause re-injury....
but ya... steroids increase protein sythesis.. they are great...
most athelets do their 1st cycle to get over injury... but if you are not careful they can also do damage that is if you over do the rehab... give em a shot and let us know..
...there is always the fear of scar tissur also..

your best best is to SIT on it and let it rest. dont make the mistake of takin roids to help you heal. all this barry bonds talk of " i took them to heal my injuries" is BULLSHIT.

rest is the best advice i can give (i play football too and have had the same injury)- ice it religiously (like 2 to 3x daily minimum) as well- you would be surprised how much/fast ice helps it heal (much faster than anything drugs will do). you can also compress it w/ wrap- that helps as well, especially if you HAVE to get on it. a tems machine (electrical muscle stimulator) and ultrasound will help as well. i broke my foot during spring ball last year and kept trying to get back on it too soon (i refractured the fucker, but i still started and didn't miss any games). i know it sucks sitting out, but let it heal- sometimes it is best.
