Well, just got back from the doctor and I have a sever lumbar sprain..its the right side of my lower back. I was doing dome routine concentration curls and wham! No rhyme or reason...I have done them thousands of times before....I was already warmed up from preachers, and standing dumbell curls. Not sure whay it happened. Either way, I am like 4 weeks from completing my Test E EQ cycle and was looking for advice. I am supposed to keep form lifting for at least a week. They did suggest I do some light cardio while waiting to heal. Should I start into PCT or keep the cycle going until I know for sure I can not lift. I have enough for about a month, so it will be wasted if I don't use it...but I also want to make sure I heal correctly. The Doc gave me Vicodin and Flexiril....

If I do go into PCT now, I have enough Test E to try the taper PCT method. Any advice on how this will work?

Bro same shit happned to me a couple weeks ago except i did it with squats. Honestly I think its been years coming, my doc said this type of thing is fairly common, excessive abuse of the low back will deterate the disk and eventually cause mis alignment. Once it gets out of wack enough you will hit a nerve, then comes the pain.

Go to the chiropractor! First adjustment relieved 75% of the pain for me. My hips were so out of whack its a wonder I didnt burn off the sole off my left shoe.
No reason why you cant work out. Just stay away from squats and deads until it heals. Do some iso-work. Like leg extensions. I skipped legs for 2 weeks but now im back to it. Just did leg press and leg ext, felt like a puss but its better than re-injuring. Ice that mutha too, it will aleviate the inflamation and help with the pain.

As for the cycle thats up to you, because more than likely you wont be able to go BTW on legs and thast is imperative for good gains overall.

So you have actual disc slippage? I wasnt told that I had any issues with my discs yet...I hope it doesnt get that far.

I will probably stay out of the gym until maybe wednesday, then go back and do some chest and tri work, and some cardio to see how I can handle it....it is a painful condition. The initial sprain hurts like a mofo, but its when the damn thing decides to spasm that brings the pain!

Still undecided on the cycle stats though......

Anybody got any info of the Taper method of PCT? Maybe a link?

You might want to read Needto's "Blast and Cruise" article he wrote earlier this month and maybe look into this as being a "forced" cruise phase for you so you don't let it all go to waist. As for the injury, until the Doc says it's cool to lift, I wouldn't mess with it. Hitting chest and tris will also incorporate your lower lumbar so I'd stay away from anything of that nature. Just chill and let your body rest. Truth be known, my shoulder injury occurred during PCT lol. I was a little overly zealous during that time trying to keep my strength up when in reality I should have been a little smarted and eased up on the weights.
Either way, read that article and formulate your own ideas based on that. Good luck with the injury.

if you cant train 110%,,,cease cycle and go into PCT.

I have had many injuries through the years. I always work around them. Just don't put any strain on your back. That means do things that have you on a bench. And for me I can support my lower back if there is a good lifting chair. Something that supports my back. I just make sure that my back stays against the back rest all the time. This keeps it aligne and I can do overhead presses and such.

Doctors will always tell you to stop. Not because they thinks it's the thing to do but if they didn't say that and you went and lifted poorly and increased the injury you could sue them. SO they err on the safe side. And I mean the safe side for them. They don't care if you lose your muscle mass. They care about losing the suit.
