Injection question

Afternoon ladies and gents,

This may sound like a stupid question, but i will ask it nonetheless.

How long should i wait until after my pin to touch my injection site?

What i mean is the actual hole. I dont want to touch it and get infection in the wound, so how long should i wait before touching/massaging/showering etc.

Also when will i be able to walk again after jabbing my quad lol?

Actual injection = painless
Next day= i cant walk lol

Lol well before you pin you should have washed your hands with and antibacterial soap then cleaned the site with alcohol. If you did this then you have nothing to worry about. I pin eod and when I'm done I use a paper towel with alcohol on it to get any blood then massage it.

What are you pinning that's making it hurt so bad? Test?

I never worried about it after

clean hands, clean needle, clean contents of needle...alcohol wipe...nail away..wipe again with a new alcohol wipe if theres blood and you're paranoid



you could go all pediatrician and get little smiley face bandaids tho

Haha, i was expecting these responses , i am a bit paranoid maybe.

I just am a freak with cleanliness. But yeah i clean with an alcohol wipe, and i have alcohol solution for my hands, pin, but then i hate to touch the area when it has been bleeding, maybe germs from around where i did not clean with the wipe could be transferred into the wound? I've seen my friends abscess, and i do not want one of them fuckers!

Should i put a plaster over it or leave it?

And i'm pinning test E with a 23g 1.5 inch, which ive heard mixed results about post injection pain. I couldnt get over how painless the injection was but the next day, fuck a duck, i couldnt bend my leg. Think i'll jab my arse from now on

in all seriousness...you have to have to bad bacteria runnin around pre-inject to get an infection...and as long as your not say...smearing dog crap in the injection site after you'll be fine

the soreness is both subjective and dependent on your reaction to the particular compound..
something that bothers one person may not bother another person...ahite?

gotta hit the upper outer quadrant.

i much prefer pec and delt injections

something that bothers one person may not bother another person...ahite? I've read similar. The pain is subsiding as we speak, so hopefully i will build up a tolerance quickly. Still think the arse will be better, as i definitely do not want it to affect my training.

i hit about half way between my knee and groin, on the outside obviously. Too low?

Would i have less of a reaction if i pinned higher you reckon?

I cannot bear to think about pinning my pec, especially with a 1.5 inch needle, call me a pussy but i just cant.

it would take 5 inch needle to reach the heart. use a 1 inch for your pec, its the easiest and painless injection and you will love it

Everybody is going to have their preferences for injection sites. Quads seem to be the most popular, but everyone that has pinned pecs seem to like it.
