injection question

Hi!

A quick question regarding injections, i did my second shot today and i had inserted the needle into the glute and had aspirated, i started to inject slowly and turned my head away for just a second when i looked back the needle was not fully inserted, a little little bit of it was visible, perhaps half a centimeter..... i pushed in the needle again and aspirated again to be sure, then i injected the rest...

was this an ok thing to do? would there be any chance of injecting in the fatty tissue instead of muscle?

I'm assuming you were using at least a one inch needle in which case I'm sure even if it was only half way in you still would hit the muscle unless you are a fat ass.I think it should be fine as everbody has probably botched a couple of injections.

You did the right thing. Shit happens. Just be as safe as possible.

it happens to me all the time. the bigger i get the harder is it to shoot in my shoulders. i switched it up and try to hit my bi's and tri's more.
