Injection Question

If you're going to inject in the thigh, You do it on the laterel side pretty much where most of the meat is, right? You direct the pin towards the bone? and how much room for error do I have on hitting the right spot compared to the picture on spotinjections.com? Like on the pictures on spotinjections.com on the thigh section, It shows where to put it but do I have to hit that area EXACTLY or just in that general area? I guess I am being a little to paranoid, just want to read as much as possible before I go jabbing myself. Is there another site besides spotinjections that describes thigh injections?

What about if it goes in a vein? I've read that some people aspirate and still somehow get some or all of in it a vein because they started coughing or whatever, does this mean the shot is wasted and I need to do another one?

Plenty of room... you can move a couple of inches away and still be fine.

It'll barely ever hit a vein... you'll know if it did when blood comes out when you aspirate. A little bit might go into a nearby vein, or you might have gone through one with the needle, but that's no big deal. Pain + a bit of coughing, but that's about it. Shot isn't wasted.

this is the correct answer to your question.
i use the sides and the front of my quads to mix it up a little.
less pain after when using the sides though.

If blood starts to come into the pin without aspirating means you hit some big pipe. If it does after aspiratign means you are in a small/medium vein. Just pull up a little to clear the vein or down if you ahve the room. Or if you want re poke in another spot( i would use a fresh pin though if you re poke( so it doesent hurt). Its easy 123 onc eyou get the hang of it. Dont wory..my first shot..i was trembling so bad i coudlnt keep the pin strait hands were so shaky i coudlnt push the plunger. For up to 15 minute safter the shot..i was waitign and thinking....damn did it go into a vein...willi pass out soon and die. LMFAO......thats good though....as i learned the proper procedures...and use them to this time....now its like shootin fish in a barel.

Hell yeah, most people have problems with their first shot. My problem wasn't sticking the needle in... it was keeping it steady, as the adrenaline rush I got had my body shaking like crazy. And then I worried for 2 hours afterwards if I had fucked up cause my leg was slightly numb and I was feeling dizzy.

My first shot rocked. I guess I'm a lucky one. I was tired (hit it in the morning right upon waking up) so that could've helped keep me a little calm.
