Injection Problem.

Bros:
I just did a recent iinjection of QV Enan and QV EQ, 2cc in my left quad-- I had aspirated, but very little blood came into the needle, it wasnt much, so I just went ahead and injected the 2cc's in, but after I was done, some more 'runny' blood came back into the needle as I pulled out--- and little bled out.

What's up with that? I may have injected too fast, or ?

:(

First off if you pull back on the plunger and get any blood do not inject. As for stuff running out, its pretty common. You likely just peirced a vein when you injected.

Why did you aspirate at all? If you saw blood, you shouldn't have injected, that's the entire point of aspirating.. this makes no sense to me.

It sounds like you'll be fine, though. As Zyg said, a little blood is fine. I have a little at the end of most injections.

A little blood is no biggie.I get that all the time.Just make sure you get some alcohol pads or rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball & go over it after you inject.

What causes lumps after injection?

Is this a bad thing? Does not hurt. First time I have ever noticed A LUMP.

well, to be honest, everytime I inject ('bout 90% of the time) I get some blood (like a drop or two) but I do aspirate for at least 3-4 seconds! I personally think that if you have hit a vien, you'd draw alot more blood than just a drop or two.
