Well...

Unless you are extremely skinny, like anorexic, bury it. You can bury it there and in most peoples cases in the quad, but other areas might call for a shallower stick.

I hit a vein about 1 time in 10. You don't want to inject into a vein, it can cause bad coughing, dizziness, and other problems.

I don't care what anybody tells you, you absolutely MUST aspirate the syringe to ensure you are not in a vein. Here is how. After putting the needle at least an inch in, preferably buried all the way in, you pull back on the plunger. If you see a small air bubble enter the barrell of the syringe and you feel resistance, you are ok and can slowly push in the plunger. If you pull blood back into the syringe instead of an air bubble, you are in a vein -- pull out and try another spot for the injection. I had to go in the 3rd spot once.

Injections are easy after the first one. I devirginized myself with those big 18 gauge cannons that come with sustenon preloads, and it was still easy and essentially painless. A sharp needle doesn't hurt. Just relax, you will be fine.
