Injecting with Insulin Pin

I'm almost out of regular pins. I have a boat load of insulin pins. I'm doing prop injections daily. I don't like drawing with the same pin that I inject with. But if I take the plunger out and pour a cc into the insulin syringe then I get air pressure at the top. How do you guys do this?
