Injecting hurt?

Push out a lil oil onto the tip and then get a lil head start and jab it in there haha but seriously it goes right in almost all the way then you don't have that pushing the last bit and you're looking at it and feeling shit and it's mostly in your head, get a nice jab in there and it's all the way in and you barely feel it.

True I usually inject slowly lol. It was weird feeling it go into the muscle.

If you push a 1" needle all the way in, so it sits flush against your skin ... and you are STILL not into the muscle, then you are one fat ass mo-fo ... just saying. Rule of thumb, for me, is 1.5" needles, but purely out of preference, no other reason. I pin delts nowadays, and still manage to get the needle in 1.25" ... just the last 1/4 of an inch before it sits flush with the skin. I prefer to get the depot created reasonably deep in the muscle tissue and honestly, cannot say that I ever felt the feeling you are describing. Probably because I have never thought too much about pinning ... and also don't really concentrate on it while doing it ... it has to get done ... so I just go ahead and do it.

I usually use a 1 in. My ass is like the leanest part of my body. It was just weird.. like I hit a wall and had to give and good amount of force to push it thru. Idk haha. I'm probably just gonna still with the 1.5. Already got them and I'm not abitch so it's cool.

So I've been using 23g needles at 1 inch.. got my hands on 23g and 1.5in and they fucking hurt.. lol I think I was using to small a needle before. The 1.5in went in then the last half inch stopped and I had to push it hard and I felt it go through a wall and it hurt. It's fine now tho. I read that that happens because you go I to the muscle. Is this correct or am I going in to far now? I read that if you do a im injection that you should feel it go in then you should feel it go in the muscle too. Btw I'm doing glute shots.

I use 21 1.5 in my glutes no prob. Once you're past the skin, if you feel like you hit a "wall" 99.99% of the time its a blood vessel. Its very difficult to tell when you hit muscle, and if you're lean, it doesn't take long.

I use 23g 1 1/4 inch never have a problem with them in my glute. I'm 9% bf but I used 1" for a few weeks because I ordered wrong ones and found they corked my glute everytime got the worse pain I'm thinking because it wasn't going in deep enough?
