please don't laugh? we all start somewhere.
when i have my friend stick the needle into my glute does he have to draw the plunger back to see if there is any blood flow in to the needle and if there is is that bad or good?

Yes. He has to draw back on the plunger. You do not want to put the oil into a vein, which could lead to your heart and kill you. Pull back slightly on plunger. If no blood, then inject slowly. If blood, pull the needle slightly out and pull back again. If giving in glutes, you should not hit to many veins or nerves. Stay away from middle buttocks as that is were the sciatic nerve runs.

Yes....you must aspirate! Just pull back a little bit and if there is no blood, then shoot away; but if there is, pull out and find another spot...good luck and welcome to the board
