Inj vs oral Winstrol

I was debating whether or not to start this thread because I didn't want to analyze it to death, but the more I use it, the more I can't help but notice the difference. I'm referring to the difference between injectable and oral winny. I've been alternating between 50 mg ED of orals and injectable. Obviously the compunds are exactly the same, and you can even drink the "injectable" winny as it's just dissolved in sterile water. But for whatever reason I can't help but notice that I "feel" the effects of the winny moreso when I go the IM route. My muscles feel much tighter and fuller, and the effect seems more immediate than with the oral version. My diet has been the same throughout. Just wanted to mention that because as you know something as simple as varying your carb intake (drastic increase) can lead to a more full, dense feeling of the muscles.


I've done many, many trials of winny but this is the first time I've incorporated injections, so it was a very noticeable difference. As far as why this occurs, that's what I'm really looking to hear from you all about. My only guess is that the injectable is more likely to be slightly overdosed (using BD right now, switching to LSP soon) than the oral, in addition to the fact that the IM route avoids the hepatic first pass effect. I'm not naive though, as I think some of this is all in my head. But I know for sure it's not the only reason.

Has anyone else experienced this difference? And if so, any theories on why?

Ok so I'm not going crazy then. It's not a huge difference by any means, but still noticeable for those of us with experience with both oral and inj.

could be that when you take it orally so much of it never gets into the blood stream and is wasted.

Im suprised the BD winny is passing the pins ok, it wasnt very micronized at all and lots of hassles with it. They stopped making it because of that reason. I like inj better myself, but the orals are so much easier to take.

Avoiding the liver on the first pass is not a plus. It only becomes a steroid by passing through the liver. No liver, no steroid. There should be no difference oral or injection. Those that use winny to spot inject claim there is a benefit but that doesn't make sense either. It may all hit the liver faster though if you inject it, so that could be one reason you feel a difference. Now that I think about it.

Thanks for your input Ulter. It definitely makes sense. The more research I do I'm finding that the BD injectable winny was slightly overdosed (~65 mg when 50 mg was claimed), and the orals were either on point or very slightly underdosed. As far as site injections I agree that makes no sense, but as with many things in bodybuilding, it's still very popular and people "swear" by it.

Inj do not help with saving liver when using winstrol. It affects the liver the same way, reagrdless of how you ingest it.

yup my boys tricep had an abcess so fucking big I looked like Smoky on Friday when the guy showed his black eye! DAAYYYMN! It was FUCKKKED up! i man like1.5 inches high but only 1.5 inches across with the damn skin peeling away beacuse it was so tight! And I had an 18 ga because he wanted to drain it! I put the 18 back in my pocket and said "YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL RIGHT FUCKIN' NOW!" It was a mess. He is okay but damn. Drink it. Bacteria really loves to be in water. not so much in oil because its harder to breed. Hell its 3 less shots a week for me!

You prefer EOD winny quad? I've always done ED but lately have been thinking of trying 100-150 eod instead of 50-75 ed.

I have done many winny cycles, it's my favorite gear!

Injectable is easier on the liver and cholesterol than oral. I did blood work a couple of years ago and it showed a difference, i.e. my liver & LDL/HDL improved when I switched from oral to injectable.
But the injectable will still screw up your LDL/HDL

The spot treatment for me is real because when I start to shoot winny in my shoulders they get round, cut an very defined. I can never get that with oral.

With the injectable I also get a much more of a "jacked" feeling than with oral. The tightness and pumps are all better wth injectable (for me)
No matter how much oral mg/day I do I can't mach up with injectable.

Very interesting article, and it makes sense to me, as this is what I was referring to when I said I can "feel" it better when injected. But to be honest, I will heed to Quad's advice and drink it from now on, especially since I use multi-use vials (more of a chance for bacteria to be introduced).

I find I need to take 25-50% more when I take it orally. But I fear getting an abcess or anything that could keep me out of the gym. I am very leary of water based injections because of bacteria that could breed in it. I usually go with multi use large vials when I use it too, so more chance for it. I was so paranoid that when I would shoot it, I would keep it in the fridge, hoping it would prevent any bac from growing, lol. Probably did jack shit, but it gave me a small piece of mind. I know silly.

From now on if I run winny, oral only.

Same here. I was livin large on 50 mg pinned. But when I take a 50 mg tab i feel nothin really I know it's working as I can feel the strength increases, but I dont "feel" that nitrogen retention like I do with the injection. Oh well, nothing's worth an infection IMO. Orally it is.
