Inhaleable steroids?

Just saw a thing on the news about the development of inhaleable insulin. It is now or soon will be on the market. I am not sure about how Nektar - the company that developed it, processes the powder, but it seems one day, there might not be any need for (most) steroid injections either -just put the powder in a bong like contraption.

I doubt it. Abilty to slow/long release would be hindered. The Germans were using andro up their nose in the 50's. But it was pretty much for an instant response.

Yes, it would have to be for the short acting compounds, but those would be exactly what you would want it for - to avoid sticking yourself everyday.

I don't mind sticking myself once or twice a week, but every day is a little inconvenient.
