Info needed on Triax and thryoid acitivity?

Just got 3 bottles Triax from someone I know. I have heard that it can produce thyroid shutdown. How true is this? I also heard that taking guggulsterones during and after supplementation of triax can prevent thyroid shutdown because guggulsterones have been shown to increase thyroid activity by stimulating the thyroid and in some cases is a viable option for hypotharoidal conditions. Just want to find out info because I dont want to shut down my own thryoid? Any info would be great

Triax is more potent than T3 at suppressing TSH. In fact, this is one of its prescibed uses: suppressing TSH in hyperthyroidal patients.

If triax supprsesses the TSH then how come people have gotten good results at losing fat with it? If so many people's TSH were being suppressed they would have become more overweight than anything.

It increases metabolism while you take it, but when you discontinue use, your TSH is suppressed. The studies show that it suppresses TSH greater than Cytomel. I have read people post on this board, stating that after use of Triax, they had very low TSH levels.
