interesting statistic; I think the denominator is probably inflated thru estimation of how much was assigned (thus lots of unused).

i bet that it's less, stricly on gun fired bullets
proly more deaths in iraq due to missles/bombs/etc than in nam, thus reducing "bullet" kills

It is definitely a lot less. In Vietnam you didn't know what you are shooting at. In Iraq there are no jungles nor tunnels to hide in.
