A heads up - I’m going to be deleting all unnecessary flames or persistent flamers that post on the Anabolic Discussion Board - I have seen some potentially good threads become crap b/c of 3-4 guys that constantly treat others with unwarranted disrespect. Arguments are good for uncovering true facts, however if they aren't mature and even-headed they ruin the thread.

There is no need to take a debate personally, if someone disagrees with you prove them wrong with facts not name-calling.

The 'check your email bro' and 'you got a PM' will also be deleted. Keep the board clean and real information will flourish.

Another thing: SEARCH BEFORE YOU ASK - ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SEARCH ON THIS BOARD, you never know maybe your question has been answered a few times.

This is in the best interest of the board - if you feel the need to flame (which is our net-given rite ;) ) go over to the chat board, them boys love a good fight. :)
 
Thanks, Slopain! It is always frustrating when good threads degrade into name calling.

I enjoy reading threads of guys I may not necessarily agree with when their view is intelligently presented.

I once degtrated to calling a guy a name which I still regret, and wish it was deleted.

i've notcied there will be posts on a topic that i'm interested in and then some dumbass starts to flame. then the question never gets answered.

any way of just deleting the flames and leave the thread up? ? ? i'd hate to see someones legit question get deleted just because of flames. especaily when there are some good answers posted.

but i like your thinking! good man.
 
Yo that will be awesome bro..... That stuff always does screw up a good post and then the post turns into 2-4 peoples personal war ground.

GREAT idea:) :) I posted something on the women's board and a MAN called me an idiot!!:( I started to just delete the thread but I just left it there so everyone could see the kind of person he is.:) When Lobo finanally logged on he was able to lock it up:)
 
I have watched and read this board for over a year, but have not replied to much. I learn better when my one mouth is shut and my two ears are open. I think it is time for people to stick to the subject. Good Job.
 
I think this is definitely a noble effort bro. I have gotten into some flame wars that I am not particularly proud of. It would benefit us all to be a little more civil.

Good work Slopain! I myself have stupidly let some posts get to me and I regret some of my responses. This is overdue. And to whom it may concern, I appoligize for some of my posts. In the future, I will do my best not to become involved in that type of behavior.

I don't post much unless I have personal experience on the subject. There are too many people racking up points by just bumping others posts and engaging in worthless mud slinging. If you have something intelligent to post - post it. If you don't, and you just want to hurl personal insults, stay off the board. This board should be a repository of helpful information and not just a place to vent your spleen. Thanks for the diligence.

good call Slo. I've been here a long time, but don't post too much because of so many flames, creating wasted space. I have worn out my search key though.

slopain hope other mods stick with you. At times I just give up and take a few days off from the board. I get tired of uncalled for flames. Some guys come here to flame. Remember we were all newbies at one time.
 
Very well stated. I see it all the time. People going back and forth arguing because they don't agree with eachother opinions.\
IMO, unless it's getting real ugly, then let it stay.

IMHO stop archiving things from back in the day. I would archive just the good pertinant information. Not MP3 shit and my GF dumped me. I bet that could save some space on the boards and money maintaining. I dunno.

You halfta pay attention to notice all that the mods do for us in keeping posts within' the aggreed apon boarders. Nice to hear you have our backs once and a while also.
