I just read through the recent posts to George as well as our board's members from the people at Muscletech and I just couldn't help from replying..
I've used Muscletech products in the past, and even still do sometimes. Their products seem to be of a good quality, even though I find their pricing a bit steep. What bothers me about Muscletech is how they conduct their business.. I use to read muscle magizines, one in particular, Musclemag.. well that was until it was bombarded with Muscletech propaganda. The advertising scheme that they practiced was brillilant - their orignal stack which I seem to remember as being Norteston, Creatine ES, and Hydroxycut made people turn from unfit, fat asses with huge bear bellys and practically no muscle tone into bodybuilders in practically no time at all.. and of course they attributed it to their products and were backed by a popular bodybuilding magazine. I know that many companies seem to do the same thing with their products - they make false promises that we all know are completely and totally deceptive and untrue.. but for a company that whos employees and reps boast that they are "treated like rock stars at all trade shows" I would expect more from them than deceptive ads and even more importantly threatening and belittling letters sent to people.
I would have to guess that Muscletech's number one competitor is EAS.. Frankly I've never seen EAS practice this sort of conduct. I found the EAS Challenge that Bill Phillips runs to be more reasonable and quite frankly much less deceptive.. the people in their challenges look toned and some quite ripped, but never lard ass turned herculean.
I'm going to dig through some of my old magazines and see if I can find one of these wonderful ads I speak of - If I find one (which shouldn't be hard) I'm going to scan it and post it to try and make my point more clearcut to those of you who may have never seen one.
Muscletech, you should be ashamed of yourself. You preach you are an honorable company, but nothing I have seen shows me that. The goons who have represented you on this board have shown me just the opposite; writing letters to members calling them morons and unintelligent just because they stated their opinion that your products suck.. writing cut throat letters to George who says nothing about your products. Pathetic.
Maybe it's time for someone to open the door and let the light shine in..
