B-Fold... If you do end up choosing rock climbing shoes, remember to get a pair that is about a size to a size and a half to small.. You want your toes to be almost curling under at the tip.. This way, you will have maximum stability, and rigidness.. Where exactly are you in KY ?? There is an area called the Red River Gorge that is a climbers haven there.. You could find anything you need.. Its about 45 minutes east of Lexington.. Otherwise, I would look online at places like REI, Black Diamond, etc.. Most outfitters will carry what you need.. I would be somewhat apprehensive about buying online though.. Climbing shoes are definitely something you need to try on.. Its a much different fit than any shoe you have ever worn before.. If you decide to go with a hiking boot, get something that is full grain leather, and has a 3 quater steel shank through the sole.. Vibram soles are the only way to go too.. Bomb proof.. Good luck ..
