Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below i read in an article they recently passed legislature in the usa where u can import up to 50 dosases not sure if this is correct but they may not let it through customs if the medicine is not available in the us and i read yesterday about the countries that are on red alert as far as customs go china 16 thailand britain india korea mexico usa canada italy greece.... can anyone inform me of the actual law that has been introduced this past summer regarding importing drugs through international borders particulary mexico and how much are you allowed to bring back into the usa without it being detained or taken away.the 90 day supply is not an actual law i heard u are essentially still breaking the law but usually they dont do anything.it is what i heard a kind. of a grey area if any bros out there can clarify this information it would be much obliged.how much can you bring back?can u bring back meds that are not available in the us?and finally how much of a personal supply are you allowed to enter into the country?thanx!

if your talking about the legislation i've read about. it's for the senoir citizens who can find their drugs cheaper in mexico than in the untied states. they orginize big bus trips. everybody chips in and takes a ride down to the boarder and buys heart, blood presure, diabities, meds.
now, who's going to arrest a bus load of senior citizens for buying some heart meds and bringing them back into the u.s? so that's the grey area ( i would assume)
the proposed legislation is to alow you to bring back up to 3 months worth with a valid script from a US doctor. and only certian drugs will be permited.
this is also gaining popularity with americans who live close to canada. their script drugs are cheaper than US drugs.
now i preach, the US drug companies have been gougeing the american people to off set their huge advertising costs. this is why the meds cost so much in the country the produces them for the least amount of money. they say the high prices are to off set high R&D costs. but a spot on 60 minutes seveal months back proved that the r%d costs were only about 30% of the advertising costs.
but back to the point. i doubt they will let some 20 something kid back into the US with 3 months worth of gear. i'm sure there will be loop holes at first, but they will be closed quickly.
