important insulin questions

just got some humalin -r. got a few questions.

1. i know you are not supposed to dirnk on insulin, but is it okay to have a few drinks on my off days.

2. is it okay that my days are gonna go five in a row with insulin and then 2 days off or is there a better way to do it.

3. i know there was a third one but i cant remember it

You can drink if you don't take insulin. Just don't take an insulin shot and then drink.

i do 3 on, 2 off, 1 on, 1 off myself. as for drinking on off days...why not. insulin has a half life of about 13 hours, so its gone for the most part by the time you would be drinking.
