I do not know how many of you have noticed, but my scammer thread is no longer posted. I went ahead and deleted it.

Words cannot express how much of a fuckin tool I feel like right now. To make a long story short, the person (lets not bring up his name again for obvious reasons) I accused last night of scamming me was doing nothing of the sort. I still dont have my money or my product, but that is not the issue here.

I wont really go into the finer details...all I can say is that I feel like a total asshole. What had solidified the idea that I was scammed in my mind was an event that happened the other night. He signed on instant messenger, and when I attempted to talk to him, he quickly signed off. It was then that I decided to make my post.

Anyway, I know that there is no way to make up for this blunder, since this is serious business we are talking about here. This person is my friend and I should have known better, but I let my frustrations get to me.

Well, that is what I did to an innocent man and a friend last night. If any of you want to come and bitchslap some sense into me, you know where to find me.

Anyway, all I can say is that I am deeply sorry. I only hope that he can some day forgive me.

Apologies are always a stand-up thing so kudos to you Almighty but please... two wrongs don't make a right: edit your address out of your post. :(

I will edit it tommorow. He address was up for a day, so will mine. Its the principle that I am concerned about.

That does suck, I wrongly flew off the handle once myself and felt like shit. Couldn't apologize enough. Although it doesn't fix it, that's an honerable thing to do, you gotta respect that. Good show man.

Everyone makes mistakes bro...but not everyone is man enough to take responsibility for them and learn from them.
 
Sounds like you've learned a very valuable lesson. At least I hope so. Hopefully minimal damage was done. At least you had the balls to admit you were wrong & to appologize, a lot of people would have just left it be & tried to hide from it. Then argue w/people when confronted with it.
 
I have gotten impatient with sources too, i guess after a while I realized that they have many orders and at least the ones I deal with take their time to package it discreetly.

It takes a man to post a public apology in the way you have, and I understand exactly why you are leaving your address up so I won't ask that you edit it out.

Sometimes it takes a mistake like this to open dialog about what steps we should take to stop something like this from happening again. I spent six years in the US Army, we had a procedure for just about everything. And, although most of the time the procedures seemed tedious and stupid, they were proven to pay off in times of war.

Mod's, Lets all come up with a procedure for an instance like this.
I am fairly new to elitefitness so I hope I don't sound preachy or like a kiss ass.

My immediate thought is in a situation like this is:
1. The affected party will contact a mod with the accused's info (in many cases this may be the mod who actually supplied the source.)
2. That mod will either contact the accused, or using their different contacts find someone that lives in the same area as the accused.
3. The contact will agree to check for local info on any arrests or injuries to the accused using local print and television media.
4. If the person has been arrested then case closed. If not then it is up to the mod whether to pursue further or to declare the accused a scammer.

Bro, I am not gonna sugar coat it, you betrayed someones trust. In a way you cannot be to blamed. I am sure there were delays, or actions that had caused you to feel betrayed. Even if such things were inadvertant, and harmless, I am sure they were there. Even though you made a mistake, this person may never truly forgive. If they don't, then they have a right to. But, I don't think so in this case. You did a noble thing by admiting you were wrong, and trying to correct the situation. Many, if not most would have hid from it. They certainly wouldn't have put themselves in a vunerable situation, by posting personal information about themselves. This shows you are truly sorry, and willing to endure any punishment for your friends forgiveness. I hope, and believe, that he will see this in his heart, and forgive you. Besides, we aren't perfect bro, we all make mistakes.... :)
 
dont be so hard on yourself, your sincerity alone gives the impression of a good person. Im sure with this posted on such a public board his/her name will be cleared in no time.

Be careful bro. You never know if someone at your school reads this shit. Odds are there is. Most schools can do what ever the fuck they want.
