Implants!!!!!!!!!!!

New member
Hey Ladies,

I went for my first consultation today for implants out in Schenectady, NY (near Albany)...I go to college there.

The doctor seemed real thorough..the consultation last an hour and a half.

I saw him circle on the sheet that 270-330 cc would be best for me. I have barely b's 36B- Barely.

HE was trying to get an idea of the size I would like, and suggested I do it under the muscle, with the incision underneath the boob.

Does anyone have an idea as to what 270-330 cc would do to my barely b's.....size wise.......he couldn't give me an exact description.

Can anyone recommed a doctor in the Albany area.

Oh...his quote was $5500, for total procedures and follow ups and if there is ever a complication, includes fix up too.

He said it's an 1 day procedure...in and the same day. An his office is in the hospital so the procedure happens in Ellis Hospital...

What do you ladies think...got any suggestion/advice???

My girlfriend had the exact same cup size as you have, 36B. She has 400cc put under the muscle and is around a D cup, depending on the bra. I'd say you'll be around a full C. I will tell you that most of the women I talk to wish they would have went bigger. Immedietely after the surgery your breast will be swollen considerably and will be really full. About 3-4 weeks later when all the swelling goes down you may wish you would have gone larger...

what i did to figure out the size, was fill baggies with the amount of cc's of water. FInd the equivalent in ml and put the water in a baggie and place it in your bra. Sounds silly, but you'll get an idea of what they may look like.

I'll PM you my stats. k? Plus remember that implants don't reshape what you have already, they only enlarge what you have there. They will look the same but bigger.

270-330 cc will look like tennis balls once the swelling goes down. Pretty small.

My girlfriend had 400 cc to start and were small on her, but she is pretty muscular. However, 400 was all that could be put in the first round because there just wasn't much skin to work with. She now has 650's that are about right for her lat and chest size.

Go as big as your skin will allow. 400 cc would be a good choice if there is room. They may seem big to start, but you'll grow into them. I know a number of women that get what they think is big to start and either wish they went bigger or go back for a second set of implants in 6 months when the skin stretches.

i dont think so, it depends on your size to begin with, how lean you are, muscle etc...try wearing the baggies and judge for yourself..but remember they do "fall" into place later and look more normal.

And in case this can help anyone, i had nothing to begin with and had 300 cc's which i think were overinflated to more like 330.

This may sound a bit naive but....how do you know how to figure out how to measure cc's... i definitely want to try the cc's thing but not sure how to go about the precise measurement when i fill the baggy....

thanks ladies....

Thanks TripleV

Daeo and Wilson6, do you have pictures (before/after pics) of the differences from the implants.

I don't really have the $$ to get the procedure redone (as far as filled more) if there is a charge so I want to get it right in the first place.

well

300cc = 300 ml..use your measuring cup and have fun!!

cc's stands for cubic centimeters.
ml's stands for milliliters

One cc = one ml They are equivalent.

Hey ...
I just love big tetas ...
300 ml will be fine .. my friend did that surgery ..but in brasil .. and now i whant to have sex with her ... my bad .. taht's because =1grams test.

Forget the cc/cup size criteria. In my opinion, it's meaningless. Everyone thinks cc or cup and not measurements. The only limiting factor on implant size is the amount of skin available.

Measure your pectoral width (medial to lateral edge) then decide whether you want implants that give lateral fullness (extension of the implant slightly beyond the pec on the outside edge) and/or coverage of the entire pec. or just partial coverage. Just remember, if it is partial coverage, if you get lean it will look like you have two baseballs sitting on top your pecs and the implant will be clearly distinguishable. When it covers the entire pec, the separation between implant and pec is not as obvious.

All the measurements are available on the implants (i.e, length, width and projection) ask your surgeon. Simply putting a bag in a bra will only give you a rough idea. Measure your chest and then decide upon an implant based on measurements (i.e., the amount of coverage, lateral fullness, and projection (how far they stick out). There are different shaped implants. Ideally, silicone would be best as they provide the most natural shape. Tear drop (biofit) salines are the next best. Remember that all salines will show wrinkles when you are lean. Silicone is far less problematic in that regard.

Another consideration is your current size. If you are a serious lifter, what may seem like a big implant now will end up looking to small later if you add some lat width. Ask New@ about that.

When my girlfriend went for her first consult, the surgeon was convinced that 400 cc would be more than plenty, if not too much. I argued that measurements not cup size should be the deciding factor. After she finally had 650s put in and the swelling went down, the surgeon agreed that they were just right for her size.

You have to do what is right for you, but just make sure you know the measurements of the implant then compare those numbers to the size of your pec. Otherwise, you may end up with a look you don’t like when your naked. One can always hide the baseballs with clothes, but when the clothes come off, it’s a different story.

Choose wisely.

When I went to see my doctor, he said he had three sizes for me

1. Blend in with the crowd.
2. Stand out in a crowd.
3. Draw a crowd.

I picked 2 :)

You're all simply amazing!!

OK, I went for my second consultation today and I felt more comfortable with this doctor. He's been doing it for 20 years plastic surgery) and I liked his pictures better...i thought his work came out more natural.

For me, he suggested that because I am very broad. That he use 360cc filled to 390cc or even possibly 390 cc filled to over 400 cc.

Based on the responses you've said, I think that makes more sence. His charge wa also 5500. Has anyone ever heard of Carl Englebardt MD he's in Schenectady.

Let me know....

thanks ladies and gent

i'll add my 2 cents....

i have 750 ccs but i am tall and broad shouldered and wanted number 3 on your list! lol! and after 7 yrs...they are great...i can send u a pic if u like...as for before..i was flat as a board...A cup maybe....so always looked bottom heavy...i opted for saline....silicon...hard to get now due to all the lawsuits...i've had no trouble from saline...no wrinkles...ect... lost no sensitivity anywhere...and am a 38C/D cup....it made all the difference in my proportions and the way i look in clothes....also...ask him about staying overnite....my doc insisted on that....antibiotics via IV all nite....way less chance of infection or complication...none of my friends who did it that way had problems....a couple who opted on outpatient ended up with infections...

I want mine BIGGER!!!!:( When I was a skinny runway model they looked freakin huge.....now since Ive put on size....they shrank! look is totally different....and now when I lean out you can see the ripples in the bags!! I would go a size larger than you want...cause you will end up regreting it and be in again for surgery...I will get mine done again..OVER the muscle this time and bigger...when I can afford it:) If you plan on putting muscle on....go BIG.

LOL! That's the best way I've seen this put! I opted for #1. I was flat as flat could be. I didn't have enough skin to put much more anyhow. I got the silicon (quite a few years ago) and under the muscle. They are smaller now..wait a minute...I''m bigger!!! After a few years of benching(flat bench 135's for a few sets of 3-5 and incline db's 40-45)...so not as much as you ladies! it has taken a toll. I only worked chest maybe twice a month to take it easy on them but it ended up taking a toll. I can't do chest anymore because it feels like they are being pulled and the muscle feels awkward. It's about time for me to swap them out. They are so small no one believes they are implants!!!!! Anyhow, the doc should be able to provide you w/some sort of contraption to try on so you both know what to expect.

If you plan on training chest on a regular basis I would opt for over the muscle. My girlfriend has them under the muscle and when she flexes they look weird. She wishes she would have went over and larger. But at the time she didn't have enough skin. She's going this Dec to get them replaced with 700cc implants. It cracks me up when I hear girls say they want them to look natural. Sure a girl that works out and has a low bodyfat percentage has size 36D breast :FRlol: ...

I agree with over the muscle, that's what I have and all is good. I went for a more modes look I suppose. 700cc's WOW! I gotta get me a pair of them :)

Um I m curious if any girls that have had them done a second time around...more painful, less, what?

thanks

I went over the muscle........was a 36B before.........now a 36D(425cc)...........they are not huge at all and feel quiet natural...........look natural in most clothes except in sportsbras they tend to look really round but I like that look.........good luck!!

Attn Legs!

Do you have a broad back/chest too??? you went to 425 and you fit a D cup??? Do you have any photos (even dressed) that you could pm me or email me. I think that you size may be exactly what i'm looking for but I rather see what a D really looks like on a female who began in the same predicament. I'd really appreciate it

Ladies have you checked out Sassy69's build, she emailed me her pics to see her broadness in her chest and back, like I have....wow....she's got an amazing build....definitely an inspirer!!! :D

I went behind the muscle. I'm 5'8" 125 and was 9%bf when I had mine put in 2 months ago. Went with the 300 filled to 340cc. They are the same size I was before I dieted down. It makes me a full C. Round and textured is what I went with. My doc said the textured holds to the muscle better. I was up and around within 24 hours and doing housework. Hope it goes well for you. I have no regrets whatsoever.

While I'm thinking about it...although mine are textured they are still round and not oval at all. They make me look round and perky.

hOW CAN SOMEONE GET 400CC UNDER THE MUSCLE AND BE A "D"CUP, THAN I READ SOMEONE HAVING 750CC AND ALSO BE A "D" CUP. tHAT'S ALMOST TWICE THE SIZE!

That's why when you talk about the # cc's its kind of irrelevant because no one wears it the same. A boob job can only make bigger what you already have. They can do some repositioning, etc. (e.g. saggy or maybe a bit lopsided) but generally if you are built "wide", you can't get that tight cleavage look.

As far as beign a 400 or 700 cc and ending up w/ the same cup size, its all dependent on how much you had to start with and how it ends up on your body. When you are trying to describe what you want its better to talk about it relative to your own body.

(Did that actually make any sense??)

No, I havent taken any yet. Mine are just starting to get the soft feel. I still have a little numbness in my left pec.

I'd really rather not have my body. Its harder for me to add muscle and I'm trying to get to a lean 135 for comp. Its going really slow.

Triple V, I just seen your pics and you look a lot bigger than 350cc. They look good.

I've had mine done 3 times and no. the pain is less severe than the first. Don't get me wrong, your in some pain but not as intense.

THe first time, I had tear drop and didn't like it. THan I went to round w/a bigger implant, than I just went bigger last year.

I wish I went under but the doctor didn't recommend it since I worked out. Blah,Blah, Blah

SUNY ALBANY BABY!!!!

5500 seems steep....really...in the city (were you talking about NYC or albany city)....in NYC its more like 8500 and up. The doctors recommend against doing it through the belly button b/c it is a more complicated procedure, there's been many malpractice suits regarding that type of surgery thorugh the belly button and it tends to create a saggy look :(

I'm gonna do it under the muscle, with the incision underneath the boob fold

I like one Doctor at Ellis Hospital but I still have to look into some other doctors to make sure I choose the most qualified one ;)

Just a quick note - since you are planning to go under the breast w/ the incision, its a bigger cut - mine is around the edge of the aureala - when you are healing I HIGHLY recommend loading all sorts of good vitamins & anti-ox's plus vitamin E oil (topical) to help with eliminating the scar. Within a year you should see the scar mostly disappear. A healthy diet is VERY valuable when it comes to healing.

somebody sometime ago posted a link to a medical paper that sited anavar as a good drug to take for healing scar tissues, especially in women...

heehee... there's a sales campaign for ya

"buy a set of boobs and get your next cycle free"

I'm sold, sign me up!!!

i'll have to dig up the link to the paper... i archived it somewhere...

I'm in the same situation as New@ - have gotten so lean that what looked great originally now shows ripples and I have put on width and thickness in my back, so it looks smaller too. I currently have saline implants above the muscle. I'm having them re-done over Thanksgiving (funny, it's a year to the day from last time) and replaced with silicone, and a larger size, and smooth instead of textured.

Incidentally - I had mine done originally through the belly button incision, and had no problems other than severe pain - everything healed up great, ZERO visible scars, I loved it. With the silicone, I don't have the option of going through the belly button, so I am doing the "around the nipple" (not sure of the technical term?) incision this go-round.

BTW: I don't know about the rest of you, but when I think "looks natural" I'm not thinking whether or not a certain size appears in nature on a certain leanness of body. We see so many models and actresses and just ordinary people who have implants, that I never knew what was natural and what wasn't until I lost weight, lost my boobs, and then got fake ones. NOW I can tell, but I never had a clue before. So everyone laughing and poking fun at us about how silly we are to talk about "looking natural" is kindof barking up the wrong tree, as far as I am concerned. I always thought what I saw WAS natural - never knew what was not natural.... Anyway, back to my point - when I talk about what "looks natural" now I am referring to smoothness, no obvious lumps or bumps, good skin tone, no ripples, etc. More an aesthetic "does it look good" rather than "would nature produce this" type judgement.
