Imagine a world where..................

This one needs major air time. ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX , CNN etc.

I agree, but there is one thing about stuff like this that concerns me. This leads people to the belief that corporations are all evil and dangerous to society. It needs to be made clear that the opposite is true. Corporations are not dangerous until the government gets involved.

Uh?

Corporations can be plenty dangerous. Have you ever studied the Love Canal?

The Bushbarians run this government like a corporation and they are making billions! Yeehah!

Halliburton has secured the oil rights on Mars and Bushie is trying to send some boys up there to check things out. Coincidence?
At the very least, securing the Florida vote will be paid for by.....us.

I would imagine the cost of getting oil out of Mars (were it even there which would be odd since there would be no reason for hydrocarbons to exist there that I can think of) and then transporting it back to Earth would far exceed the costs of just switching to a new fuel for the entire planet.

That much is clearly obvious.

Bushie wants to colonize the moon. Mars would be next and energy is always needed. Can you say $10,000/gallon for rocket fuel?

It looks like Mars may have had water. If so, then the temperature there was mild and could easily have had life that decomposes into......oil.

I don't think Cheneys going to purchase any foreign countries with his grab on Martian oil but the fact that he laid dibs on it and it was allowed is simply........amazing.

WHat in the world are U talking about. Do U really trust corporations? Some are honest, but plenty are not. Here in Midlothian, where I live, there is a big cement factory. THe biggest in the country. It contributes to half the pollution in North Texas. THey have repeatedly violated environmental standards and now they are getting support from congressmen who they provides funds to. They are trying to change the laws to allow them to pollute the shit out of the environment. 4 highschools girls in this area came down with an extremely rare form of cancer, linked to breathing in large amounts of air. They were all athletes and spent a whole lot of time outdoors. In certain areas, the pollution is so bad that it burns your lungs. Dallas county is one of the most polluted counties in the nation and nearly all the pollution comes from 4 factories in Ellis County, right here in Midlothian. Do a search on it. Corporations (Many of them, the people that head them) are indeed evil. Indirectly or directly, it doesn't matter, they are still killing people.

When I say that I don't want the government to get involved what I mean is that Protectionalism of any kind is terrible, and the relations between the Bush administration and corperations are bad.

Executives that are responsible for poisoning the air and water should be thrown in jail because that is no different than poisoning someone's food.

I just said that relations between Government and Corporations are dangerous. There is an enormous difference between corporations in a true free market and anything that has to do with government.

You just helped prove my point. It is the government intervention on behalf of the corporations that is helping it become dangerous.
