the risks with A.S. are not worth the trouble. For those who say there is none, you're dead wrong. If I become 180 lbs and healthy again then so be it, I'll be small and 180 lbs. I'm sure someone will flame me for this post and tell me I'm full of shit. That's fine! Peace.

Your full of shit...usually we all are unitl around 9:30 or 10:00, which reminds me I need to update my journal.
 
Great Choice, natural is the only way. Anything can be justified to an extent but common sense has to play a role sooner or later. You guys keep juicing I'll continue to be bigger, stronger, better shape, better density, better muscle maturity and so on naturally ok? Don't get a honky wrong now, maybe a little is alright but abuse is beyond prevalent, if I see abuse I better see results which I usually don't whatsoever. peace to Johnny Carson
 
Hmmm....what risks would you be referring to, because almost all of the sides of AS are treatable/preventable. I would like to know where you get your information or if you've just listened to the horror stories and bought into the bullshit.

I wondered how long it would take to get this response. Don't talk about listening to horror stories, I have horror stories. I'm not like the majority of you who listen to every newbie on the Anabolic Board. I did the deed, and don't talk about preventions because I used all of them. By the way the info I refer about, is from my own personal hell, not some fuckin' newbie or uncredible vet!
 
Good post. I've done 2 very mild cycles, was pleased with the results, but I'm most likely going to go natural. I've made descent gains as natural and I can't see why wouldn't it be possible to make more?
 
easy tiger, just checkin if you are a newbie or if you have some experience. You are correct, even with the precautions taken, some people suffer severe sides, its a calculated risk, but one that can be very beneficial if all goes right. I have one more question for you, what was your cycle, if you don't mind me asking?
 
I'm not saying everyone will be effected negatively while using A.S. These comments I make are from personal experiences. Not some other persons opinions. Peace.

My last was
600 prop
600 EQ
50mg V-Tabs/ day
800mg milk thistle/day
400mg cranberry extract/day
I stayed on 4 weeks before I ended up at the Doctor. My prostrate was so fucked up it was causing me to be very irratable, and I was having major problems with blood in my semen. It also became painful to urinate at times. It has been 2 months since, and I'm still not normal.

Well I am kind of natural nowdays, like 1 light cycle a year. I guess nowadays I do this more for me. Beside's I got into this sport to remain strong, healthy and fit. I know guys my age that look like shit, have done heavy cycles for the past 10 years or so and have physical problems(ie heart, tendons, etc). I guess I have been lucky in this respect.

I don't regret what I did and would do it again.

I used to be a big big mofo but now I now I am just happy doing my sport and being big. For some reason people, especially the kids are too damn quick in deciding to use gear. I am glad I have always used gear to give me the edge but NEVER as a subsitute for hard training, nutrition, sleep etc. I am also glad I reached my genetic potential first.

I am still MUCH larger(and cut) than most guys in the gym who have started doing gear as soon as they first started training. Soon it will be my 5th aniversery on Elite Fitness and I plan to post a picture for the first time EVER, you guys can tell me what you think.
 
kewl, to each his own. good for you freak. and 180 at 5'8" isnt exactly small.... ok, thank you very much. (although Im at 198 today, hehehe)

Heh heh - kiddin' man.

Your life, body and choice. Do what is right for you, that's all that matters. I believe "educated" hormonal supplementation is positive for males over 30 (in my case way over). If I start to experience negative sides or simply decide the time is right, I will revert back to being "normal" as well (your never "natural" again).

I'm sorry to hear of your health troubles man. Like anything else, AS is an individual choice. Like anything else, when the cons outweight the pros, it is time to make a correction.

Personally, I have stuck to relatively moderate cycles, listened to my body and had excellent results w/ AS. In fact, my body seems to take incredibly well to them. I see them as a tool to stay strong, fit, aesthetically pleasing and healthy. They are just one of many tools available to reach these goals. Right now they do that for me. If I get to a point where they don't -- I'd likely make the same choice as you.
