i'm on ckd, feeling depressed

Yeah the only thing you can do is to tuff it out. For me the first two weeks are the hardest, after that the diet is much easier and you feel alot better. If I have some carb cravings or just need a little energy I eat a tablespoon of original peanut butter.
 
make sure you are eating enough fat- thats where your energy will be coming from. stick with it for one-two weeks. it takes awhile for you to feel ok. your training will suffer but that shitty feeling will eventually go away
 
For me it's the hardest diet to run. I can't stand the lack of energy the first week but IF I can make it the first 5-6 days it tends to get easier. Keep the focus bro.
 
Probably your body just changing over to fat burning. Up your EFA intake, MCT, flax seed/oil helps with carb cravings, nat peanut butter is a great snack, drink at least 1.0 gallon of h20 and as far as a supplement, look into some 5htp. I really didn't get much off of it other than a good sleep aid, but some people swear by it while low carb dieting.
