winter sports. Some of you may remember my thread on my first skiing experience earlier this year. Well, today i tried snowboarding. I think I might have done worse. lol. I wiped out every time.

I suck at skiing, but I have a blast every time I try it. Tubing is more my speed. LOL I go to a friend's annual Mardi Gras party near Boston every year and there is a skiing/tubing/boarding hill near her house. Last year I only did the tubing, but this year I'm thinking of asking her son to help me try the boarding. I'm probably gonna kill myself!

I did have fun, I'll admit that. It was great. Although, I was convinced I was going to kill myself. And big4life, some areas here got a lot of snow. Campus got a dusting, but some parts here got a good amount.

I hate skiing aswell,I havent made it down the hill once without falling,Im always scared im going to break my ankles so I put a stop to that and only board now

I wish there was a place here to tube that is great fun

I had the same issue. The guy that was helping me snowboard got taken down with me everytime.

If you got on the ski's and did not fall, that would be extremely odd. I had an exprience like that @ Bellaire Mountain in upstate NY. Went with a buddy and his parents. Put the skiis on and his pop circled aound me, then puched me. I learned real fast. I learned into many objects, people, and ski instructors. Lots of fun. I had more fun knocking myself and people over. I ended up hiding behind a tree and throwing snowballs @ all the skiiers. How do you spell that?

seriously though....u couldnt ski so you thought you;d try snowboarding, a completely new beast?

on another note im jealous you have the time and location to hop along to a moutain. i was working on my feet 8.30am to 10pm
