I'm getting frustrated.......

I recently finished my masters in education a few months ago. I found out through a friend that Broward County, Florida was hiring something like 1200 teachers, so I thought here is my big opportunity to relocate to a better life. But, trying to get a job long distance is like trying to pee in a bucket 20 feet away- good luck and your aim better be good....
Anyone else ever experience this??

I'm trying to get into any elementary school (thats what I'm credentialed in out here) in a decent neighborhood, sent resumes to Margate, Morrow, Noth Lauderdale, but I couldnt get fax numbers for some of the others, they arent listed on the stie, and noone seems to answer phones down there- they are worse than me.

No I haven't, I've been going by openings listed on the jobline, do you know if they are going to have any over there? If they are I can fax off my resuem tommorrow. I wonder if I could use you as a reference, or a lead in?
