I'm depressed....

This so embarrassing....but here it goes...

I have worked out at the same gym for 3 yrs and now I personal train there 4 hours a week. I have meet so many friends. Well I work out with this one guy maybe...maybe once everyother week or so...but we are good friends...have known him the 3 yrs that I have been there...ANYWAY some jackass sends him a letter in the mail that says "stay away from my girl Gerri". Now he is married...could have messed that up over NOTHING....I haven't got anything sent to me...but now I don't want to leave the house...hate going to the gym becasue I feel violated.....Im a mess....over nothing....we really are just friends.....I'm hurt..pissed....nervous....and just want to walk away from the gym....

Okay now you guys know why

Not really...my friend who is a dective told me that it is almost always the obvious...I just feel bad for this guy...I'm pissed that his marriage could have been trashed over some idiot...if something was up then yes he might deserve it...but I feel very violated

This sounds stupid BUT it is a very vaild point...they spelled my name right....most people spell it wrong...or they spell it the way a guy spells it...so that tells me that it is someone who knows me...had access to info....and that really creeps me out

Vel is right - you can't let this influence how you live your life. especially since you didn't do anything wrong.
 
I know...you guys are right...I just feel violated...I'm a super friendly person..(if I can say that lol) and talk to evryone...I just don't even want to talk to members employees or friends...I don't want someone getting in trouble due my name only. I think that sucks...
 
Hey, GG. I can't picture you depressed. I think of Gymgurl and all I hear is "wakey, wakey!", and it always brings a smile to my face. So....we've got to get through this.

You know the truth. You know the facts. You haven't done anything. In fact, this wasn't even your fault! I think it's wonderful that you care about the guy's marriage (we need more people that care), but there is a difference between caring and assuming the responsibility for someone's else's jealousy/insecurity/(insert negative emotion based on anger/fear/greed here).

If you walk away, you leave friends, business, and a lot of happiness. The other prick wins. We're not going to allow that.

So...wakey, wakey...shakey, shakey...and get your happy hiney, hiney to the gym!

That made me spit out my supplements almost!

GG - people are so dumb. Especially when they have hang-ups or like to hurt people. That's weird that this would be in a letter format. Wonder if that could be pursued as some sort of USPS violation - threat thru the mail, etc.
 
What the HELL is WRONG with people? I mean....what's the freakin' point of doing something so increadibly stupid? So are there any women you know of that have issues with you? This sounds like a psycho chick to me.

Nelms is right. You need to get on with it. It is a little creapy, but I think someone is jealous of you. You have/had something (friendship) with someone they don't, and they (she) wanted to make sure it was taken away. Pretty sad.

Hey GG I am so sorry this happened to you. I know how you feel because I get accused of sleeping with any guy I talk to. People get jealous and do some stupid stuff. Don't let them get to you and as long as you and him know the truth you have nothing to worry about. Keep your head high!!! :heart:
 
If you don't go back to the gym - they get exactly what they want - they win.

I agree with a lot of the comments.......

You haven't done anything wrong & you can't give this person the satisfaction of not going to the gym or not talking to people as that's just not YOU.....

Plus, there are a LOT of people in this world who enjoy, live for & get off talking badly about others, trying to cut others down, etc.....Don't let them get you down!!

I agree with this statement.

Walk into that gym with your head held high. You are only giving them the control they want by not living and enjoying life.

& as hard as it is, do NOT let the negativity of others impact your life ...

I'm sure you are a ray of sunshine, truly ... and You should feel violated, I would .. so feel it ... and move on ... head up, You know who you are .. and seriously, if something like this would cause havoc or upset a 'marriage' , even with an explanation, maybe there were issues in THAT marriage to begin with having nothing to do with you ... know what I'm sayin;?

Sounds like a guy who is a total loser did it. He probably has low self esteem but acts arrogant. He has to make women feel like they are not good enough for him becaue he is really not good enough for them.
Date any total loser's in the past year or two?
Could be a woman though. I don't need to explain that at all.
The bottom line is its someone who is jealous of the person that you are. They are in a way envious of some trait you possess. It could multiple traits.
Hold your head high.
Think about this too. That guy never would have told you about it if he did not have the utmost respect for you.
Don't let some loser effect you. When you do you are bringing yourself down to their level.
Keep looking hot in the gym and it will piss the person off beyond belief.
BTW. They will not do anything. They are a coward. If they weren't they would have said something face to face to the guy. If they did they would have been exposed though. Obviously, they are afraid of that.

What happens if your girls' are gone due to diet??? Believe me I could stuff my bra's now!

I have NO idea who it is really...one one guy that thought I messed up his realtionship with one of my coworkers but I didn't it was another coworker...so that is only person that might have a reason to mess with me...which he better hope it is not him...he has been married for 30 something years and messing around with a person who worked at the gym. I could destroy his life in two minutes,....however I would never do that

So here is an update...we have this sign up board in the gym for this challange we are running and this guy(friend) signed up....well someone wrote a black line through his name....

The gym was quite last night nonew drama...had two people to train and that was about it LOL....but hey no drama is good!
