i'm bored and slightly pissed off...

my roommate had told me he was going to take me out to meet his friends/people in town and see the city at night and stuff... but he fucking just took off with his friends tonight.. this is my first weekend in the city and i don't know a soul and i've been stuck at home all week and weekend... so don't you think it would have been polite of him to take me along??

or am i asking too much?? i'm fucking bored and i have no one to phone and nowhere to go! :mad:
 
He should have asked you to go.

But look on the bright side, you can use the rest of
the night to track down who put the stuffing in
the washer.;)
 
i know, i should. i havent been to canada in a loooong time. my mom's side of the family live up there. montreal. of course you probably live in the furthest province away from there. hehehehe. thats ok though............:D
 
i live in alberta.. that's right next to bc, which is on the pacific ocean. i'm right above montana..

quebec is above maine/new york i think.

I've never had a good experience with roomates nor has anyone I have ever known. I know this sounds cynical but you'll end up getting screwed in the end, usually friendships have also been lost in the process. I would rather be homeless than to have another roomate. I will never, eeeeever do it again. They usually go through your belongings, steal from you, skip out on bills that you have to cover, bring less than desireable people over who live off the both of you, break or destroy things of your's, and the list goes on and on. It's seems to be the same progression it starts out cool then when the reality sets in that you both have to take care and support what you both share, the "roomate" turns from Dr. Jeckyl to Mr. Hyde in a flash and never changes back until it ends nasty. Sorry.
 
well he's not home much and i'm home a fair bit so i know he's not going through my stuff. and he doesn't like my music so there are no cd's to steal... he also isn't a cross-dresser plus my clothes don't fit.

there is absolutely nothing to find in my room... and that's all that i brought with me basically.

so is he a shit for not taking me out or am i oversensitive?

yeah i was pissed off by that because i eat properly and he doesn't and i actually work out and he doesn't... he works a lot so that counts for something but he's by no means muscular.. just regular. you know, i was thinking, where the fuck do you get off making a judgement like that when i actually can claim to working out??!!
 
Don't be so negative....I've had roommates of many nationalities, and we've all gotten along very well. Why should "roommate" status divide, it's made me grow closer to that person.

I still receive thank you cards regularly from prior roommates thanking me for the opportunity to allow them to be my roommate.

ok fuckhead just came home and left again... and i had to get off the computer because he wanted to make his fucking social butterfly calls... whatever.

so i got, what are you watching and don't you find it hot in your room... i just stared at him.

i don't think i'm asking too much when i don't know the city or anyone in it and he said he'd take me out with his friends all the time... it's my first weekend in the city... i think it's only polite to ask me out this time... other times, i wouldn't care but this time i think it would be considerate.

ok this is pathetic but there's a little pub in the strip mall next door and i actually contemplated going there and drinking by myself... then i decided that was too loserish.

and i REFUSE to do anything school related on a saturday night if i don't have to.

i don't feel like driving all the way back... i'm home thanksgiving weekend if you want to gather sam and kim and kids and go drinking though... shit this city seems dull.
