I'm back with PCOS. I need thermogenics help!

Hi Everyone

I have not been to the site for so long. In the summer I broke 3 tarsals in my foot....fun!!! SO I was a big layabout for the past 4 months. Doc said no cardio. I have gained weight, height 5.5 and weight probably 162, and am now having issues getting it off.

I have PCOS and take Diane-35 for that. So either the PCOS or the pill is giving me problems. As I have gotten older loosing weight gets so hard.

I am wondering about thermogenics? I am vegetarian, but eat well. Lots of lentils, tofu, salad, eggs, and high quality whey protein. I am going to start running stairs. And I have my bike set up in the livingroom.

What do you guys think about good thermos? They look pretty expensive. SHould I just get some Yerba Mate? Thanks everyone!!! It is nice to see that everyone has done so well with their goals...Ang

Here is my diet...

7:30
1 cup plain organic no-fat yogurt with 1/4 cup soaked oatmeal, tablespoon crushed almonds, 2 scoops whey

9:30
Whey shake (just pro and H2O) and small apple

12:00
Chile - made with black soy beans - very high in Pro and low in carbs for beans, with a small salad with 1 teaspoon olive oil, lemon, garlic

3:00
cold tofu and lentil salad

5:30
Salad and boiled eggs and pro to top it up

8:00
Protein shake (H20 and Pro)

In total I should be having 195ish grams protein, around 80 grams good carbs, and around 40 grams healthy fats (I supplement with UDO's), cals at 1480

I'll always recommend Thermorexin at AF Store. No weird body buzzes or headaches. Just a good kick in the pants to get going. I get mad wild stomach aches if I take it on an empty stomach, about 20 min after I take it, so I skip it until I've finished my AM cardio & have eaten something. Another thread discussed that and someone said the stomach ache goes away after about a week of takign it on an empty stomach, but I'm not that into it that I need to do that. I just watch how much coffee I drink if I've taken one. (I tend to get anxiety attacks on too much caffeine.) I also try to not take one after 3 pm or else I can't sleep.

Sorry to hear about your tarsals -- I've had bunion surgery on both feet (screws & pins in both feet, both sides of the feet) and was laid up for 4 months as well (several years ago). But it sounds like you are on top of it & heading in the right direction!

Join us in posting up your progress reports for 2005! (Check any thread w/ someone's screenname & 2005 in it , e.g. Sassy 2005.)

Thanks for you quick response Sassy! I think I will start a progress report. I need to be accountable.

I live in Canada so I will statrt looking for Thermorexin...Ang

We've got a couple of motivating Canadian girls here as well! Someone's in Ontario, but I can't remember who.... Skittles is in Nova Scotia, I think Canadian Cutie is in Ontario.

Yep, I'm from Ontario. Actually TO, so maybe I'll be able to find it in the city. Has anyone got any diet advice??

I eat a lot of beans/lentils because I don't want to lean too heavily on whey for protein. Any veggies out there who have had success on a diet like mine?...Ang

I'm from ontario, toronto as well

I do an ECA stack though if i need an added boast.

I do not beleive that you can get Thermorexin in Canada, except off the internet.

Any supplements i do use i Get from Sport Nutrition Depot. The prices are much better than competitors

Thanks very much! SOmeone mentioned a site called Organic Health in Vancouver. I have not checked it out, but if I find it I will let you guys know!.....Ang

Ok, I am going to order Levorex. I have to admit that I am a little scared of taking a stimulant. My neurotic imagination pictures my racing heart popping. So I will try the levorex and later on when I have lost much I may be more brave. For now, considering I have been couch bound, anything will do.

Jaded...thanks for the link. And thanks to everyone else. What would those without knowledge do without all of you?

Get fat.. no joking.. we are all just here for support.. :)

as a note- working on a canadian allowed version :)

That's awesome news! Would it be as effective as the original not-allowed version? I'd really like to give T-Rex a try...the only thing stopping me right now is the price, as I'd have to order it from Organic Health and it's quite pricey to order it from them (I understand why, but it still kinda sucks).

I hear ya! I paid 130 CA. But I figure, it will last 3 months.

YEP $131.84... I hope it's worth it... I would say it as good as old ephedra fat burners, feeling wise, appetite supperstent and energy is GREAT!!! ... no jitters . I have yet to see results (started 6 days ago) but I think it will be just as good !
