Congrats! It's such a great feeling when you open that package in the mail, after the weeks/months of anticipation, and see the words "you've been accepted."

congrats buddy:)

Congratulations. Take this opportunity and run with it. That is to say study hard and do well. Try to have fun too. I didn't do enough of the later.

I was going to say the same thing but decided against it. Oh well, since it's out there...yeah they suck.

Cool you got in though man. Make sure you have sex with as many girls as you can, because they are never hotter and easier than they are soon for you. Oh yeah, and try to go to class. Always make it to class and you should be in good shape.

Congratulations!!

I sure hope that you can run with the ball, or catch it, because they need all the help that they can get. :worried:

lifetime PSU fan and I gotta agree
I knew Paterno was due to retire a couple of years back when PSU lost 4 games
all their big games including the bowl game against Auburn
despite having a taiback(Larry Johnson) set the NCAA record for yards per carry and having SIX players drafted in the top 58 into the NFL
the talent was there, and yet they lost the tough games
time to go coach

call me ignorant, but isn't it basically expected that an Ivy League school's athletic programs kinda suck? I'd just figure it's too rare that you find exceptionally smart hardworking academics who are also spectacular athletes

at least at my school (not that any of you follow canadian university football), our QB is 29, in his 5th year, and mentally thick as a bag of bricks...

Purdue's engineering program is ranked 8th nationwide, tied with Cornells. It's pretty hard to get in to. Purdue's a good school though; I'll be transferring there next semester.

purdue isn't hard to get into, lots of kids got in from our school with like 3.2 1200's maybe not the engineering program but im not sure. it is a very good program and i haven't made my decision yet. but i loved penn state when i went up there and just liked purdue. so right now thats the biggest lead i have on what school i may be attending.

congratulations!!!
thats an awesome school!

Penn State has acheived a level of suck not seen in its history.

Watch your mouth bro. Unless you mean their football team only, then yes you are correct. The school is still an awesome place to go to college though.

Congrats on entering the Happy Valley fold man, make sure to visit the Rathskeller regularly. :D
