hey guys im a real puss when needles get anywhere near me but a guy at the gym told me if i rub some oragel ( tha shit for tooth aches) in the spot where i inject it will numb and i wont feel a thing. is thisw true and i got another question how much sodium is considered very low for a day. im trynig to keep water retention down.

LOL..... I like to use a 23 gauge myself. Don't feel a thing.... unless of course you wiggle the pin around while it's in you (dont' do that )

That oragel wont help too much other than psychologically. Pain at the surface is minimal if even felt. If you feel pain from the injection it will be below the surface (nerve/vein/injection burn). Just use good injection technique and suck it up, it is never as bad as you have in your head.

Yes, except for I don't know personally about the primo. I think it was Jeff Rys (sp?) that stated the primo goes through the 25g fine, just warm it up.

Right now, I am on a fina/eq/test/winny cycle. The winny is oral, the rest go through the 25g. I always run hot/warm water from the faucet over the syringe for about a minute before I shoot to lower the viscosity. And the one time I forgot to warm it up (was in a hurry), I didn't notice any difference.

Hell, I can get 100 of either the 23g or 25g Terumos for about 4-5 bucks. That would be worth finding out if it works for me or not.

Oh yeah, almost forgot, FINA ROCKS!

Your best bet is to have a friend stick you your first time if it really is that terrifying... That way you make sure you get through the first one (and if you pass out you don't fall to the ground and break off a 1.5" needle into your ass and wake up in the emergency room surrounded by your family and friends with very disapointed looks, he he he.)... once you know what to exspect its all down hill. Go for it bro... I can't imagine a single person has ever been excited to stick themselves for the first time... pretty scary, but not impossible as it seems.

If you're not fat, use an insulin pin. I know aratest and fina will go through a 29 g, much faster if heated. I don't know how much thicker other stuff is, but I bet most will go through a 28g. You have to shoot in the delts, bis, and tri's though.

I don't mean to talk like I'm a master juicer or anything - frankly I'm on my first cycle on the suggestion of a friend in a different state. I saw him do a shot once and had the process described to me. Then I went to find all the info I could on injections, printed out the best and reviewed the process. When it came time to start, I got out the ol' 22 g 1" -ers that a friend gave to me... and then started sweating....

Actually the best advice I got was to slap the injection site (glutes) a couple of times. Not that that feels real good, but then you don't feel the needle going in.

And its been a walk in the park ever since!

I will agree that doing that first shot is a right of passage to "the dark side"... but geez you guys - 240+ lbs of solid muslce, tuff guy attitude and machismo oozing all over the place.... its just a little needle, and you need it if you're going to be "shooting". Quit yer whining!

When I was getting ready to start my first cycle I was reading the injection procedure on all the web sites I could find. I got nauseous and started to sweat every time I read about it. When it came to injection time I spent about a half hour in the washroom and when I came out I was soaked with sweat and ready to pass out, but the deed was done. Ahh, the memories, I was naked as a jaybird (just outta the shower), door locked, sweatin' my balls off on the first one. Must've gone through about 20 cotton balls & half a thing of alcohol... Trying to stick a 20g 1.5" rediject in my ass for the first shot was not a good idea looking back. I couldn't reach around far enough, it was just awkward as hell. Once I did it, I was so disappointed that there was no pain to justify my 20 minutes of naked torment. Now, if I get a nerve, I'll move the needle around to see if I can make my leg twitch. There is nothing to it once you get over the fear. Just aspirate and be clean about it.

justin, i draw with a 20guage. I then put on my 25guage. Again, this doesn't cost much. And I run the syringe under the hot water for about 1 minute. So it only takes me 1 extra minute.

But do what you want. Some people don't feel anything with a 22 guage. Me, I have a sensitive tushy.

if you wanna get big my friend, you have to shoot, orals will only get you so far. I recommend in the buttock, thats the best place in my opinion. Go look in a BB magazine at all the big guys,if you wanna get like this you better shoot,and listen to some music that will get you pumped up, then inject, thats what I had to do my first time, after it was over I started laughing at how worried I was over nothing. Then I flew downstairs in my basement and had a workout of a lifetime, because I was so excited.
