ok, so i got to the lunch room this morning to get some coffee and walk in on a "anabolic steroids are of the devil" conversation with three of my coworkers.
coworker 1 is at least 30lbs overweight eating a donut.
coworker 2 is a smoker and drinker and always taking tylenol, advil etc.
coworker 3 is a marshmellow man, thrives on sweets, no muscle on his flabby frame
and i just couldn't stop myself:
first, i give the speech about the dumbass media and the "reffer (sp?) madness" mentality towards AS, and about people being lazy and letting the media determine their opinions
then, i give the speech about how anything mis-used or used excessively has potential problems
then, i give the speech about the wonders that AS are doing for AIDS patients and other "wasting" type conditions
then i give the speech about how physicians were against the criminalization of AS
and finally, i give the speech about how AS can be safely used with medical/lab monitoring, and the benefits of testosterone replacement in men over a certain age.
now, i haven't done any AS cycles yet (doing my research now) and i'm not huge, but i'm strong and healthy. when i finally left the podium, they looked at me with horror and fear. i'm sure they think my outburst was a case of 'roid rage. i'm also sure that a rumor will now begin to circulate at work that i'm psycho 'roid boy.
so the moral of these many words - watch what you say and whom you say it to!
good day everyone!
