HOSS LIKES TO THINK THAT HE TREATS ALL HUMAN LIFE MORE OR LESS THE SAME. THAT IS TO SAY, IF I DO NOT KNOW YOU, NEVER HEARD OF YOU, KNOW NOTHING ABOUT YOU, I TREAT YOUR LIFE AS HAVING THE SAME VALUE AS THE NEXT GUY THAT I DO NOT KNOW, NEVER HEARD ANYTHING OF. I THINK THIS IS THE ONLY RATIONAL WAY TO BE. OBVIOUSLY IF YOU HAVE INFORMATION ON SOMEONE LIKE THEY ARE A CHILD MOLESTER THEN YOU CAN BELIEVE THEIR LIFE HAS LESS VALUE. OR IF THEY DISCOVERED A CURE FOR A DISEASE AND SPENT THE REST OF THEIR LIFE NOT GETTING RICH OFF IT BUT HELPING GET IT DISTRIBUTED WORLDWIDE, THEIR LIFE MIGHT HAVE MORE VALUE.

BUT WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE OF A PERSON, I THINK THE ONLY RIGHT WAY TO THINK IS THAT ALL SUCH PEOPLE HAVE LIVES OF THE SAME VALUE.

SO WHY DO I CARE MORE ABOUT 5 PEOPLE DYING IN A CAR WRECK IN THE NEXT TOWN OVER THAN 40,000 PEOPLE DYING IN THAT EARTHQUAKE IN TURKEY A FEW YEARS AGO.

THIS CONFOUNDS ME. I DO NOT LIKE MY EMOTIONS.

actually i've been working on school stuff all damn day and my ass and back hurt from sitting... and my eyes hurt from staring at the computer screen.

and i still have a sore throat ok things could be so much worse for me so i won't complain further
