I can ALMOST forgive old people for doing it. But I still see younger, seemingly intelligent people schlepping out their checkbooks in some kind of misguided technological defiance.

Interesting and very TRUE observation show....
Checks are for paying bills thru the mail (electric, water, cable etc..)

Checks are lame-ass; people who write checks (mostly old women and soccer moms) in the grocery check-out line take too fuckin' long. Just use your damn debit card; it all comes from the same place anyway.
