If you were to die a HERO, how would you want to go??

Umm, saving a child or someone I love. I would take a chance with my own life for that.
But then I've never been in a situation like that, so I don't know exactly what I would do. I don't think that I could live with myself if I just let someone die though. I would do what I could.

any of you guys ever mean "A Prayer for Owen Meany" (they had a movie, Simon Birch that was somewhat based on the book, but, imo--the book was a hella lot better)....in the book, i can't remember exactly, but he died jumping on a grenade saving some orphans, or something like that, maybe someone else remembers better, but, something that is completely selfless, not for glory or anything, just for helping someone (although, i guess, that dying so that you don't feel guilty is somewhat selfish)...i'll stop rambling
