I'm working the graveyard to get myself back on track, financially. To give me an extra boost, I decide to take my old job back as well, during the day. I quit in the first place because it wasn't a good place to be, what with a girl I was seeing not working out but necessity is primary here so I got my job back. They called me earlier today to start early. So, I surprised everyone by rejoining our crew of workers 3 days earlier.

So, I get there and the greeting was good. However, little did i know that the girl showed up midshift of mine to start her shift. We stayed polite for a while but she was quick to get nasty with me for no good reason. She noticed that it was uncalled for later and apologized but it took every ounce of my self-control to maintain my composure and remain civil. Over the course of the day, the only times she talked to me was to complain about everything that bothered her about me. No welcome back, James...no how are you...no where you been? All I got was, "remember when you were over my house and used my computer...now it has a whole bunch of errors. It's your fault. You suck." Or, she would say, "A lot of people are talking about the times when we were together here at work..it's a lot of gossip. Why do you have to talk so much, James?!!!" I didn't say shit, ass....People draw their own conclusions.

I swear, it boggles my mind how shitty she is acting considering how nice i was. I seriously hate girls now, more than ever.
 
im guessing if you answer back, she;ll make a big public scene and it will put your job in jepardy?

either ignore her, or verbally do the equivalent of shrugging your shoulders for each situation. guarantee this will wind her up more. shes just tryning to get a rise out of you, its what girls like her enjoy doing, annoying/frustrating men
 
I think she's just genuinely inconsiderate. She doesn't realize how much she really got to me since I kept such a cool head about me. She thinks it's funny to have a laugh at my expense. My job isn't in jeapordy and it doesn't mean that much to me in the first place but I'm sure as hell not gonna lose it over some stupid horseshit like this.

I'm just gonna work my 8 hours, and mind my damn business. If she gets personal, I'll take it up with management and that will be that. I just want to go about my own merry way if she's going to be so nasty. I honestly expected to see her and she actually be happy to see me again and even talk to me like an old friend...

This shit really has my head spinning.
 
blow it off. infact, just act like the injured party at work rather than be resentful. if people ask about her public rants, tell them how hurt by the whole affair you are etc (unless u will be accused of gossiping by ur boss if she complains)

unless everyone in your office is totally stoopid, they'll look at her and see the insecure bitch she seems to be




also from a personal POV, don;t let her spread rumours about you behind your back. its then when you fnd out who your true friends are, but so many people just go with the first story they hear, and it might make things awkward
 
Actually, it's other coworkers that are spreading rumors. A few weeks ago, me and a couple of guys who work with me were supposed to go to a local bar together to unwind. One of the guys doesn't like this girl inquestion so he pointed out that it might be a good idea to leave her out, knowing I'd try to invite her. I abliged and now he's saying that it was "I" who didn't want her to go. It's so laughable considring that at the time, I wanted to hang out with her more than anything. She knows this and still she chooses to believe these assholes instead of me.

The first real conversation i had with her today was over this stupid horseshit. She didn't even ask how I was doing and I haven't really seen her in a couple of weeks. FUUUUUUCCCCCKKKKKKK.

Next time you are leaving work and she is still there or arriving or something pull her aside and tell her you would like to maintain a professional relationship with her at work and if it means not speaking to each - so be it.

Worse come to terrible - treat as though she doesn't exist.
Walk right by her just as if you don't ever see her.

I'm going to use all this negativity to fuel my lifting. I really was hurtin for motivation and this will do just fine. It's time to hit 200lbs. and snap some fucking necks.
 
I don't know what to say. I think you're doing great so far and I'm sure it takes every ounce of your will to remain cool-headed and mature. Heck, I can't even imagine what it would be like to work with my Ex. Thank goodness she's over 500 miles away.

It seems like to me that you're worrying about what she thinks of you. You may be doing that unconsicously.
 
That goes without saying. As much as I hate to admit, I still have "some" feelings for her, otherwise it wouldn't bother me. I don't give a fuck what those bunch of fucking losers at work think about me.

I'm as manly as they come, fucker. Actually, the way I act, I come across exactly as you put it. I just shrug and go about my business. Inside however, I'm all pissed and shit. Today, i'm cool though. I really could go for a steak.
