...ended up lost in the mountains for some reason, do you think you would be able to survive until you were rescued??

If so why?

did i lose my arms and legs in the crash?

LOL! Why did I know it would be someone like you that would complicate this!

NO! You are all in tact and you can walk. You're not bleeding to death either.

Absolutely. .. why... common sense..

Stay near the damn plane. build a shelter immediately and start looking for methods to signal... i.e. fires, smoke, large graphics.

Depends on if I could find a water source and what the temperatures were... with water and above freezing temperatures.. yes.

That would be easy if I wasn't hurt too badly. The snow provides a water source, there is always something to start a fire (the plane is probably the best smoke signal you'll get) and I'm sure there are plenty of rations aboard the plane. On top of all that, I'm a bad Mother Fucker and I make shit happen! :Chef: :tuc:

Yes, mostly with common woods sense learned from my father when hunting in my teens. Don't go wandering off. Use the wreckage as a windbreak, build a shelter. Use any dished metal you can find to melt snow for potable water. gather wood and seat cushions for fires and smoke. Daylight hours use smoke to signal, not fire. Seat cushions and vulcanized rubber should give off a nice black smoke that can be seen for miles. Check littered baggage for snack foods, blankets, heavy clothing, handguns, etc.
