If you know a lot about supplements look here - I need advice!

Hey all, I'm new to this board and could really use some help. There's a gazillion supplements everyone recommends and to be frank, it confuses the hell out of me. I don't know what half of this stuff is and i get lost between names of products. I'm 5'10'', 200ish lbs, 24% body fat. I haven't really lifted much and I need a lot of work. I'm planning for 12 weeks to really get into this and give it a shot.

What I'd like is to gain muscle, a lot of muscle and cut the fat out. I want to know what kind of supplements (the best kind) I could use for help my muscles grow and heal the quickest. Money is not an issue. I plan to take glutamine, protein, creatine, multivitamins, Flax seed oil capsules, EFA capsules and anything else that could help me achieve max results. Can anyone give me any info on what brands I should buy for the BEST results and any other supplements that I could use . I will also be on a diet and work out 6 times a week - I'll pretty much be on the Body For Life program. Thank for all the advice guys ahead of time.

glutamine try the peptides

creatine is good as well

do cardio 3 times a week as well

and lift 4 times
 
Timing your sups will be important. Make sure and get a whey/dextrose shake after you work out. Taking creatine at this time will help as well. Throw in a multi vitamin and you are pretty much set.

Flax Seed Oil 3-5 grm/day
Whey Protein 1grm/body lb
VItamin C 1000mg/day
 
There is this brand new supp out and this stuff works better than all that stuff combined. It is called good old fashoned FOOD. With a high body fat like that I would recomend nothing but good clean food. Get yourself a good notebook and start writting everthing down that you eat. This will help you fine tune your diet. Then when you have your diet figured out then I would add maybe just so add protein and see how that goes.

Remember training is not something you just give a try. You must live it 24 hours a day.

Don't listen to this advice. Mentioning vanadyl here discredits Loths IMO.

It all depends on your goals as far which supps to use.

I'd say the basics are:

MRP (if needed)
Protein Powder
Multi-Vitamin/mineral
EFA Oil

I use those and also use r-ALA Post Workout.

Not a big creatine fan although 90%+ guys around here use it and see results. I will try CEE in the future though. I got a bottle from the AF Store I will use when my cycle is over to help me measure any results better.

Not big on Glutamine, be it peptides or not. I've tried Ener-G. Great tasting stuff, but did not see anything noticeable really.
