If you feel sluggish, do you?

Hi all.

I work 10 hr days, and I get up at 7am to work out Mon-Fri. I take weekends off....anyway I woke up this morning and felt like a pile of crap, NO energy at all so I said screw the work out this AM and now feel guilty as all hell. I missed shoulder and traps. My question to you is if you feel like crap do you A: work out anyway with no intensity B: skip it and re-charge for the next day .... just interested in your points of view on this.......I am in the middle of my nightly ab work now, cant let that go.....by the way I work out at home, I have 500lbs of Olympic weights, Squat cage, Incline/flat/decline bench, leg curl/ext, hack squat, Lat pulldown/low row, and hex dumbells from 25's to 100's.... if you could add a peice of equipment to this....what would it be?...........oh yeah and yes my ass is sore right now. doin T-200 / 400mg a week for 10 weeks, in week 2 right now and am seeing good increases already. Eating my ass off and gettin 400grams of protien and 7000-8000 calories a day. I am 5'10" and currently weigh 195, hoping to get to 220-230 on this diet and protien intake.
 
Sounds like your pumped up about your cycle. Welcome to the boards! To answer your question: when I feel like shit, I go to the gym anyway, and by the time I hit my first 2 or 3 sets I am feeling beter and on my way to a great pump. Even if I feel like not going in to the gym, I go, because you will feel better. Missing a day in the gym bugs me more than just going when I feel like shit. My advice, make that day up with doing a split day or do it on your day off.
 
well tmw looks to be Legs in a.m. and shoulders/traps in evening, I'll double it up for missin today. I mean shit I should be good to go for that...BTW work out is as follows..

Mon: Chest - Flat Bench / Incline Bench/ Incline Fly work
Tues: Back/Bi's
Wed: Shoulders/traps
Thurs: Legs
Fri: Chest - Flat Bench / Flat Fly "heavy" / Tri's
Sat: off
Sun: off

ABS always... and calfs I do even when im brushing my teeth..

I take 1 week off every 3 months, and one full month per year. It keeps me from overtraining and I don't feel guilty in my week off because I feel I deserve a break some now and then. But when I am in my 3 month training period I try to never miss a workout.

BTW I NEVER take a break when I'm in the MIDDLE of a cycle.

There will always be days you dont feel good. Often on these day I still go in and just take a little longer and more slowly to get my workout started. After the first 15-20 minutes I feel a lot better. Then I dont have to stare the guilt all day. Be sure and get some energy food before. Oatmeal is great. Do what you can to get your best nights sleep.
