Yuck, Kid Rock could be replaced with much better things. Your list looks so commercial.

How does it look 'commercial'?

NWA and Eazy E got virtually no airplay. It took a classic album for Dre to get airplay. Kid Rock got no love until his 5th album, "Devil...", Wu-Tang gets virtually no airplay and while Em and Snoop may get airplay, those albums are classic.

No Ice T?

No Moe Dee?

No MixALot? (rapper upon arriving on the scene)

No Vanilla Ice?

Ice T - no solid albums, just a few good singles

Mixalot and 'nilla.... dont make me laugh

I havent sampled enough of Kool Moe Dee's catalog to make judgement on him, but chances are if he was that good, I'd have heard some of his better tracks already

Jesus 2 knows where it's at.

del the funkee homosapien albums are good too.

if you can locate this album, check it out: so underground it's painful. if ya got aim and a fast connection, i can get it to you also.

If Tech N9ne had a greatest hits out, it'd definitely be on the list as well, probably knocking off "The Marshall Mathers LP"

I'm saying if Tech N9ne keeps getting better, he could be one of the top 5-10 MC's EVER. Its so bad he isnt getting a huge amount of national love yet b/c he's from the Midwest (Kansas City).

dre - the chronic (can't argue this one)
run dmc - raising hell
beastie boys - license to ill
snoop - doggystyle
easy e's solo album...forgot the title (had "Nobody move, nobody get hurt" on it)
nwa - straight outta compton
ll cool j's "all world" is a good compilation of the best of uncle L, although i agree with no single album standing out as something top ten worthy
never got into wu-tang
deltron3030 is good shit
digable planets - Reachin'(A New Refutation of Time and Space)

Raising Hell was good, maybe Top 25
License to Ill was badass

Eazy E's first solo album was called "Eazy Duz It"

Wu-Tang Clan is not easy to get into. Not everything they say makes a whole lot of sense and because they rap in obscure metaphors, similes, etc. so often, they alienate a lot of listeners. Still, you've got to respect any group with 9+ members that hasnt broken up after 10+ years together, altho 3 are relatives, so that helps (RZA, GZA, & Ol Dirty Bastard). I dont know if they'll be able to top 36 Chambers or Forever though, but RZA is one of the best producers ever and their style is unlike no other.

WHY WOULD YOU WASTE SOME OF YOUR CHOICES ON WUTANG BULLSHIT!!!

KID ROCK DIDNT START AS A RAPPER...HE WAS DEEJAYING FOR ICE CUBE. NVR RAPPING.

KAYNE

he started as a rapper.

Here's his first rap album that came out back in 1990..."Grits Sandwiches for Breakfast"

best song off there was "Pimp of the Nation"
